I took my head into my hands and groaned, one place for sanctuary and it's falling apart, great. I wasn't sure what they intended to do or where all these people could possibly go!!!

"It'll hold for a month or so and we already have a plan in action okay?" Simon said as if hearing my thoughts. I smiled at him, he could always tell what I was thinking.

Simon and I locked eyes for a few minutes, as he stepped closer Aaron coughed and came between us.

"Hey little brother why don't you show Zayo around?" He said to Simon. Zayo smiled and eagerly stood next to Simon.

He looked at me, clearly wanting to say more but only smiled at Zayo.

They walked off leaving me to stand in front of Aaron. He was a lot more lean than Simon, they both had the same eyes though. His hair was a dark chocolate color and was slightly longer.

He held himself up, a lot more confident and a lot more chiseled in the face. That boy's jawline could cut you! The thought made me chuckle and he smirked at me.

"Got a problem, do we?" He threatened. I shrugged placing my hand on his shoulder and smirked, "do we?" I asked not expecting an answer as I slid my hand off him and be gang walking in the direction Simon and Zayo went.

We walked out the room only for me to freeze in my tracks, kicking up dirt. The giant globe that surrounded the Village like place gave light and showed the city falling around us slowly crumble.

We were up on a ledge, stairs led down from where we were to a place that had a bunch of bustle. Bikes were used but no cars. It seemed to be the area where you got food, water, any essentials.

There was concrete paths going from place to place, all of it led to a giant black square building in the middle.

I looked from my side to notice many people going in and out of doors that appeared to be coming from the ground. It reminded me of an ant hill. The people made dwellings inside the earth!!!

"Amazing...isn't it?" Aaron whispered in my ear and slowly took my hand. I looked down at our hands right before he tugged me to the stairs.

I laughed as he grinned from ear to ear, "there's so much to see!!" He called out. As we safely ran down the stairs hand in hand I couldn't help but notice the mutants all around the bubble, banging against it madly. This all made me wonder....did other states have this? Are more people safe than we thought?

Questions rang in my ear as I began to finally let loose and smile, really smile.

Aaron early showed me through the crowd of people, all calling his name and eagerly saying hi. It lessened my mood when some girls would give me glares.

They acted is if they would have any chance with my best friend anyways. They looked 15 or 16 and Aaron was 23! I shook my head, I hadn't been in a good mood for a while since I was left that bunker. Only time I was happy was when I found Zayo.

So I gave them my fakes smiled and held my favorite finger up to them. They all had their mouths opened and I stopped Aaron I gave them one last look before calling out, "Might wanna close your mouth kids, flies attract to shit!"

They all glared at me but closed their mouths. Aaron was laughing so hard I was afraid he'd pee himself. It was contagious because before long I was laughing with him.

We were still chuckling as he moved the curtain to the first place we stopped at. It was beautiful, very gypsy-vibes came from it. It traded clothes for many other items. Aaron released me and looked around the whole shop.

I groaned, I saw a pair of light colored jeans, my size as well as fairly nice black long-sleeved, it was almost see through at the top.

"Pick an outfit out." Aaron said happily behind me. I jumped at his voice and lightly elbowed him. He groaned in pain and that's when I remembered my mutation. I wasn't sure when but sometimes I just had it.

Guiltily I turned around only for him to stand up at that exact time and go nose to nose with me.

My breath hitched and his grew shallow. We stayed like that and for some reason my heart began to race. It was so loud I wouldn't be surprised if he could hear it.

"Uh...are...you uh....okay?" I stuttered and mentally kicked myself for sounding so stupid. He only nodded before his eyes lowered to my lips. I bit my bottom lip and he did something I never thought he'd do, he growled in a haughty way.

Aaron began to lean down to kiss me when we heard the girl ask me if the outfit I held in my hand is what is wanted.

Just like that I was out of the trance and coughed moving away from Aaron. He stood there for a moment before slowly going neck to his normal self. I wasn't sure what happened there, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not.

I know Zayo likes Simon but so do I...I thought I did?

Don't I?

"Thank you..." I mumbled to the lady before going in the back and changing. My hair was half out my ponytail so I did the only thing I could do. I pulled it down and ran my fingers through it.

Even though it was a little wavy my hair looked just the same...only it grew a few inches!! Hair does not grow that long, the white was really showing as well.

Quickly braiding it into a side braid I walked out ignoring the few strands that fell around my face and smiled at Aaron who held my jacket.

"Let's continue!"  I said trying to pretend nothing had happened. His eyes looked me up and down so fast I'm not sure it even happened.

I blushed, the jeans did hug me showing off my decent sized butt. Not gonna lie, doesn't look bad. The shirt was a lightly loose but clung to my curves in just the right places.

Quickly I put on my jacket and moved in front of him. The way he looked at me, wasn't the same since I last saw him.
