Chapter 25 pt. 1: Lilian

It was Friday and Sage has tried to talk to me about wearing a dress to meet the pack. All I ever worn was pants and I'm sticking to it. Even in Westside I wore pants, fear of being taken advantage of. No it wouldn't have mattered but it made me feel better luckily they only made me do stuff to them and never forced me to.... well anyway. No dress and it was final.

"C'mon I think you would look rather lovely" Octavius came in with a stack of papers handing them to Daniel as Sage and I bickered.

"I don't care I hate dresses they me feel... exposed" he glanced at me with furrowed brows but then gave himself a reassuring nod once he got what I was talking about.

"Everyone else will be wearing dresses, even skirts. Come on Please"
She looked at me with those puppy dog eyes. I was just about to say no when Jack came in.

"I agree with Beta Sage, Luna you will look pretty"
Now how can I say no to that.
He may be seven but that's all I need to be convinced. Also he had a better game face than Sage.

"Fine.... but I get to pick"

With that being said Sage scampered off like a little school girl who was just asked to prom.

She can be a handful but she's literally my only friend, well that and little Jack.

"I'm going on my rounds Jason and James are on their way. If there is any trouble just mind link me"
Octavius gave me a quick kiss before leaving as he's been doing every time before he left. I kind of liked it.

Just as the door shut from their departure down came Sage with a handful of dresses. Where she got those I had no idea.

Goddess help me.

Hours after picking a dress I finally decided on a dark shade of blue. I was going to pick a white sundress but Sage kept taking it away.
It was a barbecue not a red carpet event I don't know what the big deal was.

"I don't understand why girls want to wear dresses all the time. Some make them look like pumpkins"
Leave it to Jack to point out the wrong of dresses.

'' I doubt that Jack'' Sage said looking at him with amusement.

He did have a point and just right for the season to. Since Halloween was only a few days away. That is if this pack ever does anything on Halloween.

"Now for your hair I was thinking-"

"No thank you, my hair will be fine brushed and pulled back"
I grabbed the dress and hung it up on the bathroom door, so it would be there when I showered.

"So are you and Octavius-"

"don't even finish that sentence. Evelynn already got on the subject yesterday. The answer is no we are not"
As I grabbed my towel and made my way back to the bathroom Sage laughs stopped me.

"I wasn't going to ask you about Children but now that you mention it. By all mean I would love to see little Alphas and Luna's running around the Pack house"

I just looked at her. Is it me or is she crazy.

"Evelynn said the similar thing" I muttered as I shut the door.

Flashback

"Oh come on. I would love to see little ones running around the Pack house. Maybe one or two"
Evelynn chimed as we sat in the living room she came over as soon as she heard we completed the bond. No mentions of when I tried to run that is. Seems like that hatchet was buried.
