Chapter 32: Lilian

I woke up sore. My head was throbbing and my throat was dry.
What happened?

I looked around and this wasn't home. It was some type of cabin looking place.
Where was Octavius?

I closed my eyes concentrating on him. With his barriers down I pushed out to him.
'Octavius'
When I got no reply I tried again.
'Octavius where are you?'

Still nothing. Why isn't he replying? The room wasn't that big a chair and small table was all that was in it. The door was wood so it might just be easy to kick down.

First checking it. It or course was locked so I tried kicking it.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you"
A young voice spoke out on the other side of the wall.

"Whose there?" Asking looking for anything I can use to get out.
"Don't worry about it. Luna point is, that door wood or not can't be broken down by a Halfling"

"Who are you and how do you-"

"You're not full wolf? I know people"

Then it was quiet and I was more confused. Since this mystery voice wasn't helping I continued looking around only to find nothing that can help me, not even a pen.

I picked up some things since I entered the pack. Not a lot but some. Not listening I tried the door again. It just wouldn't budge. How hard was it to break down a door? They make it look so easy in movies.

It's been hours since I woke up. After trying to reach Octavius I was now mentally drained. Why was it so hard to reach him? I didn't understand.

I was sitting against the wall when the door opened and in stepped Xzavier and the twins.
Instinctively I tried to make myself invisible and small.
"I see you're awake. Great! Now I need what you know on the Nightshade territory and your Alpha"

That was it? He is clearly crazy.
"if you think I'm giving you anything on either then you'll be clearly disappointed"
What I really wanted to tell him was to fuck off but I knew better.
He looked from the twins then to me and began laughing. He was laughing.

"You changed. Not much and not in a good way. I'm not going to ask you again. Tell me what I want to know while I'm asking nicely"
He demanded grabbing a chair and say in it.
So I sat up straighter and crossed my arms and looked at him.

"No"
Am I afraid of him. Yes. Will I betray my pack by sharing information not meant for him? Hell no.
Because knowing him has going to use all of it and ambush the pack and try to hurt Octavius and I wasn't going to do it.

"Well then we'll see when you change your mind. That info might just save your life"
What was so special about Octavius's territory and why does he want information on him.

I looked from him to the twins then back to him. I remained silent.

"No big deal. He's dead anyway once he steps on my territory. You on the other hand I have plans. Tell me how much do you know about your wolf?"

My wolf? I don't have a wolf? Do I? Just as I went to speak up he got up to leave.
"Wait. I don't have a wolf"
He didn't say anything just turned back and gave a smile. Not a nice one either.

"Well shows how much you know"
then he looked to the twins obviously talking them something through the mind link then walked out.

Whatwas he talking about?
And what did he tell the twins?
