Markus walked into their cabin as quietly as possible. He knew for sure Ashley would be asleep by now. Shortly after she left, he wanted to follow her to their cabin, but the lads had poured him some more wine and asked him to play cards with them, which he couldn't resist either. After all, they were his friends and he always loved spending time with them, even though the alternative was very tempting this time.

But as time past by, the alcohol and his pleasant company couldn't help him forget, about the look on her face the moment she kissed him for the last time. It was as if she really longed for him, as if she had actually invited him into her bed. The colors of her eyes had been so breathtaking dark green, they went straight through his soul. What was it with this woman? Why did she influenced his body and mind so intensely? He thought about the way the moonlight had illuminated her gorgeous body, the night he kissed and touched her for the very first time. Markus his lower body immediately reacted excited, thinking about that night. He moaned softly and looked at the two men sitting around him, acting as if he worried about the cards in his hands. But he didn't care about the cards. He wasn't thinking of winning this game. He could only think about her smooth skin under his fingertips, feeling like velvet made of the best quality. He wanted to feel her underneath him. Her legs around him, while making love to her passionately and drowning in her breathtaking eyes.

Markus yawned visibly, stretched his hand over his face and decided to call it a day. The whole day had been very enervating and although he knew Ashley would be sleeping by now, he wanted to see her. Maybe she had the answers to his questions while sleeping. He thanked Graham and Kian for their company, laughed as he showed them he had been bluffing with a bad hand of cards and left the room grinning. He loved to bluff, in cards as well as in business. Even with women he had bluffed several times, by promising them to meet them again, or telling them how special they were, knowing he would never see them again. But not with lady Ashley. In a way she had done something to his heart, his mind, of which he thought he wasn't ready for yet. He also didn't know, how long he would be able to resist her unhearable scream of making love to her, without even saying a single word. But he knew one thing for sure, he would love to make her scream for passion, while seeing her body writhe of excitement. He took a deep breath and opened the door to their cabin.

As he walked into the room, the fire in the fireplace was still burning. Ashley had probably opened the doors of the stove, to better feel the warmth of the fire. Would she have been waiting for him? Had she been cold, hoping for Markus to warm her up? He moaned and shortly closed his eyes, imagining how she would look like while making love to her in front of the fireplace. As he opened his eyes again, he noticed she had already fixed his pillow bed in front of the heater, so he wouldn't get cold.

He walked around the main bed to see if she was sleeping. The flames of the fire illuminated her beautiful face as he looked down at her. He wished he could gaze at her forever. She was looking so peacefully now. He sat down on the edge of the bed, longing to touch her, kiss her, make love to her, but he realized he couldn't just wake her up and tell her what he wanted. "If I could only show you, how beautiful making love can be" Markus mumbled as he tenderly touched her face. He frowned as he realized what he just said. He was shocked by his own words. Real love? Was that what this was all about, real love? He just didn't know anymore. He loved a woman once and without him understanding why, she had explained to him their love had been fading away. If that was true, than why did he still love her? Love was so complicated and he couldn't use complicated right now. What he did know about Ashley was, that she made him laugh and she turned him on, more than any women had ever done before. Even more than Elisabeth, his ex-wife.

He looked at her, as he heard her softly sighing in her sleep. "Oh sunshine" he moaned softly. "If you only knew how much I long for you". Ashley wetted her lips, as if she understood what he said and as if she wanted to prepare them to be kissed by him, but Markus knew for sure she was sleeping. She couldn't have heard him. She didn't do this on purpose.
He gazed at her as she slightly stretched her body and turned on her side facing into Markus's direction. He shook his head in disbelief of what this woman did to him by just looking at her and suddenly he realized, he couldn't and didn't even wanted to resist her anymore.
