Call:
Mark: Hey Lilly
Me: Hey can you come pick me up?
Mark: Already?
Me: Yes Mark! If you will then hurry before my dad can come back!
Mark: I'm running to your house. Be ready!
Me: Ok bye
Mark: Bye
End call
I grab my diary and put it in my purse. I run downstairs and outside before my dad can see me. Once I'm outside I take my diary and pen back out.
Diary Writing:
I'm about to go to Mark's house! I forgot to mention that he bought me a dog and is taking care of it for me! He's sweet, actually cares about me, and he helps me forget about my dad. No I don't like him like that... I think..? Anyway I'm gonna go to his house. I honestly love how he cares about me and we barely even met. Not a lot of people like that in the world.
End Diary
I close my diary and put it in my purse when I see Mark coming.
"Let's go!" He says helping me up.
We start walking and it's a silent walk for most of it. He finally says something after about 4 minutes.
"Did he do anything?" He asks me.
"Uhhh.." Is all I can say. Has he not seen my cheek? It's still bleeding. He looks at me and stops in the middle of the road. He walks in a circle around me to see if there are any signs of me being hurt. He stops at the side with the cut cheek.
"Your cheek!" He says. "Tell me what happened, Lilly. Please?"
We start walking again and I explain what happened.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks.
"When was I suppose to? How was I suppose to? Right when I walked in my room he was there! I couldn't call you while he was there! By the time I could call you I was already hurt. I wrote in my diary and called you right after." I say as my eyes get watery.
"You have a diary?" He asks.
"Yeah. I write in it whenever I need to get my feeling out. It's not like I can tell anyone. I don't want to hold it all in so I write it down." I say.
"I'm your new diary! You tell me everything from now on okay?" He says grabbing my hand.
"Why so when you leave you can just tell everyone?" I mumble to myself, remembering what happened between me and Julie.
"I will NOT leave you! We're friends okay? Not fake ones either! When we get home you will tell me everything. Okay? I will do the same to you." He says. I guess he heard me.
