Author's POV

-Flashback:September 14, 2025-

A ray of light flashed so quickly, hitting the boss-class monster.

The two siblings had decided to try to defeat it before it killed them.

The brother took his shot with his Calico M900A, making minimal damage due to hitting gear of the monster.
His blue-haired sister, took her shot a couple seconds after, being the sniper and her brother taking close combat, they felt like an unbeatable team.

Both taking their final shot, they were finally able to defeat it after two hours. Sinon took her shot a second after her brother did, receiving the final blow and a new sniper rifle, the PGM Ulitma Ratio Hecate II.

The siblings looked at each other and nodded, Kurro was glad, even if he didn't receive anything, his sister did and he was satisfied with that.

-December 7, 2025-

"Alright, we'll take care of it."

The guild they had joined two weeks ago, were called to kill the supposedly only person in a Mob hunting party that had a live-ammunition gun and pose a threat in PVP (the name of their new guild).

"Jeez, you two are so independent!" Ginrou sighed in annoyance, one of the squadron members.

"Sinon and I will take the strongest then." Kurro spoke.

"You two are too much..."

-----RECENT TIME-----

"Jeez, I don't think there coming. They might have changed their route." Ginrou, one of the squadron members sighed.

"The hunting party will come soon, I checked their route myself, so relax." Dyne, the leader of the squadron spoke.

Kurro was starting to get impatient unlike his sister, Sinon.

"The mob's hunting party is usual equipped with energy weapons, so it won't be much of a problem for our Defense Field." Dyne went on.

Sinon thought since the squadron of the hunting party could only afford a single player with a physical weapon for support, she would target that player with her sniper; along with her brother.
It would make no use of the no Bullet Line for a sniper's first shot rule.
Her brother had her back.

"But couldn't have they gotten smarter and made a plan since we attacked them last time?" One of the siblings squad members asked.

"They can't easily get that many physical guns, to attack humans." Dyne answered, smoking his cigarette.
"Maybe one if they were worried, besides, we got the best pair in GGO covering our backs." He grinned, referring to Kurro and Sinon.

Both lay against the ruined wall, not wanting to play attention.

"The plans perfect, right Sinon, Kurro?" Dyne questioned them both, earning a hard stare and a glare.

"Yeah," Sinon replied.

"Tch," Kurro turned away.
