yayyyy!! First story 'to na nabasa ko na gawa ni Miss alyloony. And I was so amazed! I already knew about the Percy Jackson Series and it also has greek mythology. Pero hindi ko pa sya nababasa. And first time ko na makabasa ng romantic story in Filipino language na isinahog ang mga character ng greek mythology.
I enjoyed it so much. Mula sa pagka "eng-eng" ng bidang babae hanggang sa pagkakalog at pagkapilosopo ni Cupid or Eros.
Actually, it was the title who got me. Ewan, pero anything that has the word "Cupid's Arrow" always reminds me of the movie "That Thing Called Tadhana". And I so loved that movie. That's why I gived it a try. But man oh man, I was really amazed. Never had I imagined that I can actually read and liked this kind of story in Filipino form. Kasi let's admit it sa mga international novel lang natin nababasa 'yun mga ganito. Tapos pag nakakita tayo ng ganito, sasabihin natin agad "ayyyy corny!"..yeah yeah..guilty here!!👇..haha..But guys give it a try, it's really worth it!
Anyway, balik tayo sa story. This story is about the girl named Jilian. It is a story of her adventure of "operation: make luke fall in love with me". But an accident happened. At dahil dun an daming mga sanga sangang consequences ang nangyari. And because its Cupid's arrow, we all knew na sa kanya nakasalalay ang kapalaran ng mga love life natin.
And to redeemed Jilian's mistake. She needs to do a "job" for Cupid even at the expense of her own love life. But Cupid tell her something that is against of what she wants. And all she needs to do is to trust Cupid and do everything that was supposed to happen, after all it was her mistake. So yeah, this is a story of trust, friendship, family, betrayal and love.
This story is already "completed". It has a 65 chapters aside from the prologue and epilogue. And dahil nabitin si Author, pati na rin kaming mga readers, nagkaron ng book 2. And the title is "The Living Arrow". It is still on going. Pero if you were already satisfied with the ending of the first book, there's no need to read the book two. Pero kung mapilit ka talaga, G na sa book two!!..haha
