George smells like perfume and Tesco and cold. Matty doesn't know why he smells like perfume or why it took him three hours to get a few groceries, but he won't mention it, he supposes.
George says, "Hello," and Matty doesn't say anything in return, because he can be an arsehole if he wants to.
He thinks about hiding away and calling Gemma and crying profusely, but he does none of those things. Suppose it serves him right, going out and letting a stranger touch him. He and George aren't dating anyways, which is why Matty goes to clubs to hook up and George comes home smelling of a girl.
George sits down on the sofa with him, taking the remote and switching it to Nigella.
Matty tries to sit as far away from George as possible without seeming suspicious. He's already seen this episode, which means George has to.
Maybe George went out and fucked a girl because of what Matty did last night.
The thought makes Matty furious.
He looks over at George, who looks very much invested in Nigella, with his hair falling out of his bun.
Matty wants very much to kiss him. But he won't.
"I'm going out," he says and puts on his boots.
"Wear a jacket," says George absently. His eyes don't leave the television screen.
Matty huffs and grabs his jacket from the hook on the wall. He slams the door on the way out.
very short update because I'm sick. I probably won't be updating for a while and I hope you enjoyed this short chapter.
