The Tree

It stands alone, yet it stands bright

It pictures a grove, of evergreen light

Children come along, with parents about

To sing it's song, on a different route

Caroling songs, very few wrongs

The season is here, someone special is near

Cows, sheep, horses and dogs

Cats, mice, crows and hogs

All give way, to the Tree today

We all look down, the mountain side

To see a crown, and  a door open wide

The prince of peace, is standing there

Looking up, at me, I swear

He looked at me, he looked this way

The Christmas Tree will remember this day
