My once peaceful, now restless mind
Turns over what happened today
To me, it was like a kick from behind
To ruin my every day
A snappy remark
Out by the pool
A glare in the park
I thought you were cool
My unmet gaze is a powerful ray
Of total determination
But she ignores it
So she will pay
My mind is the only place left
Where we are still friends
But somehow i doubt
This is a relationship that mends
