What Are We

I walk upon a path

walked many times before

but with a different purpose

To open up the door

I drag the murder weapon

The weapon to murder me

I carry on my back

The fabled dogwood Ignore tree

Inflicted upon me

A great many pains

And upon my clothes

darkened blood stains

I walk along a twisted route

but not filled with doubt

For this is what my father says to do

this is a day that men will rue

Abandoned I am

Of all my friends

This life has

Only one good end

Crucified to be, I am

many mistakes they make

violent people they are

In death, Pleasure they take

upon that night I die

And the believers begin to cry
