"Ad-adrian. It's not what I looks like."

"Really? Than what the hell is is?!"

"Can we talk to you? In private?"

"No. Anything you have to say, just say it." He was practically screaming. You could just see the anger boiling.

I glanced at Nathaniel, he nodded telling me it was ok to to just say

"Nathan is adopted. And I just found out that his biological parents... Are my, biological parents."

"ALL LIES ADRIKINS!" Chloe's voice echoed through the court yard.

For a second, I thought that he believed her and not me. But he turned to her and said, "Chloe. You need to stop making up lies. This is the 15th time you tried this since me and Mari started dating. You gotta stop being desperate. Face it! I'm not interested!"

Chloe looked hurt before returning to her usual smug self. "Well. That's fine because I'm dating someone. Come here babe." She said.

I looked to see who would step out of the door. It was Max. He looked at me, at first, lovingly but then with hatred. When I saw him kiss her, I felt crushed. I know I really shouldn't, but I gave that man 6 years of my life. I still and probably always will. A much as I hate him, I still love him. Tears poured out of my eyes, and I ran passed them as fast as I could. Adrian and Nathaniel raced after me.

I quickly turned around, "LEAVE ME ALONE, FOR ONCE!"

"no marinette. I lost you once, I won't let you go again." Nathan said.

"Why are you upset about this? After all he did to you."

"Because I was on love with him! When greed consumed his soul, I didn't know what to do. But I forgave. And fell in love again. And I'm not the type to get over someone that I love. It takes years on years." Tears began to fall again.

"Mari, I didn't know I hurt you so deeply." Max's voice said.

"It doesn't matter. What's done is done. I won't fall for it again."

"But Marinette,"he said softly.

"No!"

He hates when I say no to him. His face becomes dark with anger. I realize what I did.

"Adrian, get Nathaniel to a safe place and don't come out until I text you. You know the words."

"No." Adrian said.

Soon all my friends stepped forward, the whole class. Except Chloe, cause she hates me still. Alya, Nath, Adrian, and I were in front. He could she that I was still afraid, which gave him power.

"Give her to me." A chorus of voices rang out as he called upon his powers.

"No." They said in unison.

Nino stepped forward into the front line. We looked at each other and said our Miraculous lines.

"Tikki, spots on!"

"Plagg claws out!"

"Pikko, feathers on!"

Alya looked conflicted but said, "signal out!" And decided to fight as Lady WiFi.

Soon the class shouted, "dark wings shutter," turning them into their good akumatized self.

"Let's end this Max." I said seriously.

"Yeah. Let's." He made his reply.

Then the battle begun.
