"Father," his angel softly called—
but her eyes are cold!
With all the love he could muster,
he looked at her and behold!
Sweet innocence and utter purity
radiated from where his angel stood!"Why angel? You should smile.
Your smile is as bright as the sunshine,
as sweet as the moon,
and as rare as the rune,"
he told his angel frankly."Why angel? You should see the sky,
Explore the world's infinity,
Witness all its beauty
And you'll see—
in its harmony
you belong perfectly,"
he told his angel carelessly. So his angel suddenly turned away from him,
Hands recoiling away from his hold,
And eyes were again getting cold.
With all the courage she could muster, she spoke,
"But why father? I am a stranger to this world!"Slowly moving backwards, he saw his angel fell.
Forgotten wings— she fell from the heavenly crumpled cottons
to the raging sea of fire owned by the demons!
Wicked smiles, evil eyes, the devil laughed in his favor!
He saw his angel being licked by the angry fire.
He failed to remind her of her wings— he failed as a father.
