Stars.
little things glittering at night.
they are the Moon's army,
and they takes the flight even if
the moon is indulging his cowardice.Stars.
they see themselves as guide to us the fallen stars.
they stay where they are–
for us to see what we left behind.
we chose to fall.
now we're looking up the dark sky,
trying to reach the stars once more.
and be one of them once again–
just like before.Stars.
little things hiding during sun's rise.
but they are just there,
they chose to stay–
unlike us the fallen stars.you can't see them during day
because they are the moon's army–
they only serve the Moon.
but you will see them during night,
(if there's no cloud to block the sight)
where darkness reigns
and cold remains.they will be looking down at you–
twinkling,
sparkling,
saying something you never knew.
but I will tell you–
it's not something new.Stars.
they are so many none could see them all,
even in the open sky, where you're free.
as the wind softly cradle your silent thoughts,
you will look up on the dark sky,
you'll raise your hand to reach them once more,
to be with them just like–
just like before.the stars are winking at you tonight.
can you read between the spaces?
but you see, there is nothing between spaces
because they are always in between–
that damned spaces.
in the space, however, the stars do lie
like a bed of twinkling lights
only that, they are winking at you tonight–
so you reach for them once more–
just like before– yes,
they are definitely winking,
twinkling at you tonight.maybe later,
or much more later,
the moon will finally give you the right
to be one of them once more,
just like before.
