Chapter 5 - Jemma - Some 'Alone' time

I sat on a bench outside of the slifer dorm, it was bleak and unwelcoming, unlike the lab that was filled with alluring creatures and strange equipment I learned to use. Compulsively sighing, I turned to my side and snuggled my head into Augustine's chest. He very lightly stroked my hair. I so wanted right now to shift! A strong emotion of what I now knew to be love passed through my veins as he kissed my forehead and smiled. He didn't know, what would he do if he knew I wasn't fully human. I smiled back and kissed his awaiting lips.

I watched as he walked away to get some water, his hair was lightly touched by the wind gently ruffling the curls. Resting my head in my right hand I shoved in an earphone, a theme song played but I barely acknowledged it as looked at the 400+ pictures of Sycamore and me from our flight. I just wanted everything to be Goddamn normal with me but no! Some Idiot goes and does this ruddy thing to me! I realised Augustine had returned and returned to laying my head on his shoulder being utterly bored out of my brain. Gah!
