"Clever girl, you don't even know my name and your still willing to destroy me." He cracked his fingers, "Comeforth Malice Doll Of Demise." The familiar doll carrying an axe appeared, it swung the blade round its head grinning, "Now Malice Doll cut down her Jasper Magician." The magician howled as the blade severed its body, a pendant appeared on the field.
"When Jasper Magician is destroyed he returns to the field as a continuous spell." The man grunted.
"I place one face down, your turn my dear." Megan gritted her teeth.
"My draw." Without looking at the card, she continued "I forgot to tell you, when a Gem Magician is destroyed, like the crystal beasts-" at the mention of the name Jesse began growling and trying to lash out, "Oh ok... Anyways, they return as an continuous spell, the effect of Jasper is to allow me to take a Gem Magician card directly from my deck and summon it, I choose Quartz Magican." The little girl appeared, she had long blond hair and wore long straight white robes. Her cheeks were a rosy red and she held a wand in her right hand topped with a lump of clear jewel. "Now onto my main draw phase, I now summon Peridot Magician." The magician had waist length black hair and wore a long, mid-tone, green, kimono. She had a stone of green peridot held in her palms. "So now, I er- I use Quartz Magician's special ability, I draw till my hand is full." Her face paled slightly when she saw the cards she drew. "Now I attack with Peridot Magician, her attack cannot be diverted by traps or spells." The doll disappeared, vaporised by the beam of light that was emitted from the gem in her palms. The man's life points dropped by two-hundred. "Now I attack with Quartz Magician. I end my turn with this face down." A chuckle escaped the man's parted lips.
"Foolish child. I play Pot Of Greed, I then summon Sangan. Next I use the magic card Ultimate Offering and give up one-thousand of my life points to summon two more Sangans. I then sacrifice them all to summon King of Destruction." He laughed cracking his fingers. "Now due to the three Sangans effects I add three monster cards under one thousand five hundred attack from my deck to my hand." He scanned and selected three cards. "I now attack Quartz Magician, Xexex use destruction sword slash." Megan's life points dropped to One thousand nine hundred. She panted heavily. "I end my turn." Megan clutched her fist over her chest and shut her eyes.
Megan POV
It hurt. The pain. It was like having yourself ripped away, piece by piece, little by little. Every ounce of my entirety plunged into a duel, even though I knew we could win. I didn't really want to think of life if one of us lost. Is it like dominos? We each effect him in our own way? Taking away one level of evil, maybe? I placed my left hand on my knee and forced myself to stand. With a shaky hand I drew my card.
3rd person POV
Megan exhaled slowly, "I summon Blue Fluorite Magician," The male magician was half dressed in milky green armor with dark blue-purple robes. It drew a sword made from the two toned gem stone. "I-I now scarifice them all to summon, Spirit Of Red Eyes Black Dragon. May your rage help the power in this fight, the call of battle is yours along my spirit. May your fire set the field alight." Her eyes turned crimson as a pale black Dragon emerged. It leaked from her heart, tendrils of dark grey fog pooled around its feet. "Now attack use Spirit Fire!- but first. Who are you?" He smiled macabrely,
"I am many things Megan Devlin. I am an enemy, a saviour, right and wrong, your freedom and your restraint, Love and hatred, life and death. I am you. I am all of your nightmares in one. I am that confusing side, the hell inside your mind. The place not even you dare travel to. I am all of sins, anger, arrogance and hatred. I am the darkness in your light. Ying and Yan may turn, just like this duel. Darkness always falls prey to the light, and every vain move I make I still know you'll win." His face changed to be exactly the same as Megan's, with crimson eyes and with her voice the thing spoke again. "You are one of five, the second to reclaim your darkness." Jemma looked at him frowning,
