Jemma woke up first, Sycamore lay at an angle over her back. Sand was everywhere, it laced Sycamore's black locks. Her glasses had the infuriating material stuck all over, "Merde.." she murmured shoving off a groggy boyfriend. "Get up guys!" she touched her cheeks, heat seared her fingers, she looked at her back, the jacket she usually wore was under her head. Looking there at the fragile skin she gulped, sunburn coated her body, it looked like she had been spray painted red. Emily was next to rise, she shook her ginger ringlets. Jesse was half asleep with his arms enveloping her waist, he murmured,

"Just one more hug Amethyst, good kitty.." he rubbed his face against her white top, "Mmm, soft kitty.." Emily pushed him off and he opened his eyes immediately, "Woah bright!" Jaden shuffled in the sand gently stirring Megan,

"Wake up Meg, we'll get your ankle checked properly today." She groaned and rolled over, "Meg!" he slapped a quick kiss on her lips. She opened her eyes and smiled,

"I blame Sophie!" At the sound of her name she rolled over and groaned,

"I hate sand. I hate sunburn. And most important of all I Hate SAND!" the yell woke up Becky who wriggled into Chazz,

"Mhmh," she mumbled into his belly. Using a hand he pushed off her head and sat upright, he shook the sand out of his hair. Becky sat upright when the grains hit her, she attacked him with a good morning kiss. Syrus and Hassleberry woke up face to face with a grumpy crocodile. They both shrieked and crawled backwards, it tottered off and woke Jim who was face down in the sand. Sophie stood up and shook her hair wildly, she stood back upright and her hair fell in exactly the same place. Sapphire grunted and stood up, she looked in the surface of a rock pool and began to wash her face. Sophie stumbled off into the wood, "Goodbye...I smell like an animal and require a shower... and after Sun lotion.." Jemma dragged Sycamore so he was standing, eventually most disappered into the trees.

It was around midday, and not getting more sunburn was on the mind of the girls. Megan's, Sapphire's, Emily's and Jemma's were the worst, with Sophie bringing up the rear, Becky seemed unaffected by the tinest burn ever. A bottle of Aloha Gel Aftersun was stood in the centre of the canteen table. Everyone was sighing, "Umm, that hit the spot cheers.." muttered Jemma rubbing the green gel into her scarlet cheeks. Megan began spraying a Johnson's lotion onto her shoulders. She was careful to miss the tiny straps of her black tank top.

"So revitalizing!" she stroked her oiled skin. "Ahh, no longer burns like a thousand bonfires!" Becky laughed,

"We should've thought about it before collapsing on the sand." She shook her head and touched her unburnt face. Sophie grumbled something inaudible as she slapped on the green lotion,

"Why! I hardly ever get surburn!" Megan hid under the table as a beam of sunlight hit her table,

"No more sunlight! Call me a vampire or whatever but no more!" The blinds closed part way shutting off the annoying strip. The others burst in all looking red and burnt baring Hassleberry and Jim.

"Give us some of that lotion! Before my face peels off!" Yelled Jaden snatching the bottle out of Sophie's grasp,

"Oh no you didn't.." Said Sophie before tapping his sunburn with medium force. He leapt back yelping like a dog.

"Ow, ow, OWA!" he exclaimed as the bottle fell back into Sophie's palms.

"Thank you for that kind jesture," She resumed massaging the gel into her shoulders as he writhed on the floor, clutching his cheeks in pain. She passed the bottle to Jesse, "I think his face looks like a tomato, oh and Jaden writhing on the floor in pain won't make me give it to you." Jesse smirked,
