"So," Thora whispered into the chilled morning air, tracing little nothings on her lover's chest. "What's the supernatural crisis this time?"

"Why do you assume there's a supernatural crisis?"

"Well, for starters... I am your wife." She smirked. "And you might have been talking in your sleep again. So what is it?"

"Hunters." Klaus answered after a while. "There are hunters in town."

"Well surely they pose no threat to us, right?" Thora asked, a furrow now making its way in between her eyebrows. "You're an Original. A hybrid at that."

"Well, yes, that is true," Klaus sighed with a small smile. "These aren't just any hunters, love. They're the Five."

Thora sucked in a little breath in recognition of the name, and fear was brought through her body. She remembered the Five all too well, and they weren't your average hunter, indeed. They were faster. Stronger. Smarter. In a way, supernatural creatures of their own.

"Are you sure?" She asked. "I thought they were just a tale that you used to tell me. You killed them ― they're supposed to be extinct!"

"Oh, I'm sure alright." Klaus sighed, running his fingers through the girl's hair in hopes to calm her down. The last thing she needed in her life was yet another threat to it. "But I'm handling it, and you needn't worry about anything."

"Except school."

"Wait, what?"

"Did I not tell you...?" Thora asked teasingly. "You're looking at the newest of the Timberwolves. Go team!"

"You have got to be kidding me."

"What? Rebekah needed someone that didn't hate her, I needed a distraction and at least a sub-par education, and there it was. A public school with no concerns for its students. What a wonderful world, right?"

"Rebekah can compel herself some new friends and I could've tutored you myself." Klaus pointed out.

"Compelled friends don't count, and I've never been the type for a student/teacher relationship, thank you very much."

"Oh, really?"

"Mhm. I much prefer the loyal husband and devoted wife scenario."

"Well, that's good, because I think I do too."

"You better, or else we might just have to call off this wedding."

"Ah, yes. The wedding."

"Well don't sound too excited, Niklaus." Thora rolled her eyes, a smile tugging at her lips.

Smiling as well, the man kissed her softly, reaching over her body whilst remaining the contact and grabbing his phone, swiftly unlocking it.

"What are you doing now?" The woman asked, whining with a pout.

"Well, if you don't want to see what it is that I have selected for some wedding ideas, I'll just put them away―"

"Don't! Show me now!"

And so the to spent their morning cuddled up in bed, looking at his phone as he pulled up different locations and colour schemes and flower arrangements and everything that they could have ever dream of... Until Thora's phone rang.

"Hello?" She chirped into the receiving end, her husband smiling brightly at the sight.

"Hey!" Her classmate, a girl by the name of Savannah, responded, making Thora's eyes widen significantly. "Are you still coming to my house for the project?"
