The dark experiment (#Wattys2017)

chapter 5

I spent the whole day discussing plans with Alex. We had decided to attack at dark, he showed me the ways to get in and out. Where guards would be, who to kill and who not to kill. But what he didn't know was that I had already made a plan of my own, I was now going to destroy the place where I was created, and rescue the other projects. When nightfall came again I got ready in a nice outfit, orders from sian. And lied down ready. It happened in an instant, with my powers I could connect with them just like clicking my fingers.

"You made it" said sian as she came running down towards me, the pink hair flowing in the wind.

"we've got everything set up for training and then we can go to the cinema. I'm super excited to go with you, come on" She grabbed my hand and we ran towards the training area. I saw everyone was there and ready.

"let's begin, remember no powers"

I showed them simple defensive moves, how to kick and punch. I then showed them how to throw knives and fire a gun.  They picked it up pretty quickly and within 8 hours we were done. Sian was eager to go to the cinema afters.

"come on let's go, this movie always makes me cry"  we watched the movie but I didn't understand, why was it so sad the dog died. Everyone dies it's a part of life.  I looked all around the cinema everyone in it was crying and then I looked at sian, she was crying a waterfall I patted her back and she turned her head towards me.

"your not crying, why?
It was so sad"

"I can see what your trying to do, emotions, I don't feel them. There is no point trying but I thank you for your efforts" I was about to stand up but sensed there was something amiss, two guys at the back of the cinema was watching us. I could sense they meant danger.

"sian, there are two guys that have been watching us, I assume they will make a move when everyone has left"

"ha, what are two guys going to do against me and you. They will stand no chance"

"one thing I learned in training do not underestimate your opponent, your cockiness can get you killed" I stood back up and noticed they were making there way toward us. That smell it seems familiar.

"we need to run"

"what. We can handle them"

"no, you don't understand when I was created. Scientists made a toxin, when injected into a body our powers will not work on them for 5 hours. They did it just in case we went wrong and no offense but your not that good at fighting yet"

"but that's OK, I have you"

"only up until sunrise and then I'm gone remember and that's only two hours away. The guys there belong to a guy named Rimmer both him and the people who created us have been at each others throats for ages because they didn't give him knowledge to make his own weapon. But I heard the guy is insane loves to torture. Now I can handle it, I won't feel the pain and I'll be gone in two hours but you....I don't think you would be able to stand it"

"o okkk.  Let's run" I could tell by looking at her she was scared but it was too late there were already behind her and knocked her out. I let them knock me out too. In a normal situation they wouldn't have laid a finger on me because I would have killed them first but I wanted to meet this Rimmer maybe he could help me kill my creators. I woke up in a abandoned warehouse tied to a chair, not tied very good might I add.

"ahh so your the famous killing machine" a tall guy Walked forward dressed in a nice suit, he had short brown hair and green eyes.
"I'm surprised that two of my guys knocked you out. But I can see that you let them. I want to see how you work. Kill them" 
He undid the ropes around my waist, arms and legs and pointed to the two men. I looked into his eyes he expected me to hesitate but I killed them both in seconds. Like I said there is no point trying to change me I'm a monster, a killing machine, a weapon.

"wow, must I say I'm impressed" I looked at the clock ten minutes till sunrise.
"oh, don't worry I tracked your little friend down and brought your body here. You won't be leaving anytime soon. Shall we see your friends"
We walked down a narrow corridor until we came into a bleak room. The sound of Sian's screams echoing bouncing of each wall before thundering in my ears. I wanted to. But I felt nothing, I didn't care that she was being hurt but I wanted to save her she was my friend, the only friend I've had in a very long time. A bright light entered the room bringing me out of my train of thought sat in a chair was Alex and to my right sat sian. She was tied with chains her face covered with stained blood and cut marks, purple bruises covering her arms. I looked at Alex for some reason he only had a scratch on his temple he looked like he hadn't been tortured I didn't know if that was a good or bad sign. 

"take him away, he is so boring" two men from the shadows dragged Alex away but he didn't look scared like he knew they wouldn't hurt him. 

"I'll let you return to your body before we talk" before I could do anything I was trapped in darkness to be awoken again in the next room. 

"You see my dear there is no point torturing you. You won't feel anything but your just amazing so... I want you to torture sian"

I didn't give any facial expression away. I smirked and made me way towards her with a small knife.

"no Athena please. Don't were friends.  Please.  PLEASE" She cried. Her tears strumming down her cheeks, her screams filling my ears once more. Why would she think I would actually torture her?

"no" I said as calmly as possible

"fine, then I shall kill her"

I was grabbed from behind but I noticed once I killed him the gun had already fired and Sian's cries fell silent, the blood rushing from her chest, her eyes watering as the pain took over. She looked at me and smiled.

"don't tell kai I went like this" She croaked. I turned around to look at Rimmer he was laughing. How dare he.

I stared to shake. I started to feel an emotion for the very first time.
I was feeling
Very
VERY ANGRY.
