We made our way down towards the meeting area, everyone looked to be in deep conversation but as I entered the room silence filled it. Looking around at the people I've come to know as family, they smiled back but I could still see...fear in there eyes.

I pushed it aside to walk toward the table surrounded by them. Maps of every size covered the table with plans and blueprints of buildings.

"So what's the plan" I said looking up at everyone.

"We've found the area where we think the creators have been working"

"What do you mean you think"

"Connor has been checking out the area and has seen them, but we have information from someone about how to get in"

"and..."

"They won't tell us unless they see you"

"Great. It could be a trap, or a crazy person who has no idea"

"We've checked him out. His name is Luke, he used to work with them but was fired for helping us get out. We can trust him"

"Ok"
After hours of discussing the plan I made my way down to a small village not far from here. Luke wanted me to meet him alone where he would give me codes and plans of the main building.  I had a weird feeling about this guy but if they can trust him then so can I. I watched my feet as they followed the muddy path that led the way, I listened to the wind playing it's music and the bright light of the sun guiding me. I was so lost in the feeling of peace that I felt slightly normal again. As if I wasn't some experiment that harboured some evil within me. As if I wasn't something to fear.

"Ah, I see you made it Athena"

That voice seemed familiar but I couldn't quite place it until I opened my eyes.

"You"  I whispered already feeling tears breaking through.

"Me" he said with his sickening grin.

Athena flashback.

I've been in here years now, too many to keep count, I sit here thinking of my mother. Hoping she is out there and not chained up like me. I was lost in my thoughts until the sound of the bolted door unlocked and in entered a young man with brown curly hair and blue eyes, if you looked at him from afar you would think he was sweet and caring, almost innocent but his grin showed otherwise.

"I want to check that you don't feel emotions. I want you to watch a video"

He sat down beside me and opened up a small laptop. A video had appeared and he clicked play. A woman was chained in the middle of a cell wearing nothing but raggy clothes that had blood stains on them. Her hair nothing but a huge mess of knots but her eyes...it was my mother. I kept watching as a guard walked into the cell with a whip.

Smack.
Smack.
Smack.
Over and over again he whipped her, occasionally kicking her in the ribs and slamming her head down onto the floor. No matter how much she cried or shouted he wouldn't stop until she was nothing but a fragile ghost of a woman covered in scars. The man closed the laptop and looked at me.

"What do you feel"

"Nothing"

"Good" and so he left, closing the door behind him.

End flashback

I felt nothing then, but as I relieved the memory I felt every thing. All the pain and anger of watching them torture her, all the hate I had for him because he made me watch.
I started to feel the rush of power and anger again but this time I didn't stop it, I collapsed to my knees and looked up to see the fear in his eyes, and boy wasn't it a great sight to behold.

Mysterious pov

Watching her from afar was amazing the serum obviously worked better than we imagined.  She collapsed to her knees and looked up and Luke, her eyes now pitch black, and she smirked at him. It was animalistic how she rose from her knees and growled at him.

"Ask me what I feel now" She snarled.
"I feel everything"

She lifted her arms up causing the smoke that surrounded her to wrap around Luke, his scream making everyone else panic and run for there lives. Once she was done with Luke she sent a pulse that destroyed everything. The houses.  The people. There was nothing left but rubble and bones. Within seconds she destroyed a village. She was the one.

Athena pov

What have I done! I've killed them all, children...everyone. I can't control it, I can't save them. I stumbled across what was left of the village and ran as fast as I could with tears streaming down my face. I didn't know where I was running but I couldn't stay here for I-

Am a monster.

Hope you enjoyed, sorry for the slow updates but I've been busy with school.
