"Wow." You heard Dylan whisper while he was staring at you as you walked towards him in front of the restaurant. "Come on. It's not that fancy." "You don't have to dress fancy for being stunning." "Smooth." You commented while he wrapped his arm around your waist, walking towards the entrance of a cute, little, Italian restaurant.
"I'm glad we're trying this." Waiting for the food you look at him. "What?" "The thing with *us*." "Oh you don't know how long I've been waiting for that to happen." I stated before adding: "You know you could have just make a move earlier. Then you wouldn't have had to wait." Grinning a little you rested your elbows on the table and your chin on your hands. "I, I, um, I-" Dylan stuttered a little embarrassed. Understanding, you laid your hand on his before he intertwined his fingers with yours. The food finally arrived and it looked so awesome. Everything went so perfect. But then. Suddenly your ex stood next to you, watching you laugh. "So. This is the reason why you left me?" He asked tugging an eyebrow at you. "First of all, no. Second of all, don't make a scene now." "Me? Oh yeah because I'm the one that cheated on me with him!" "I did not cheat on you! This is our first date okay?! Leave us alone, I have nothing to say to you anymore. Our break-up was all your fault." "M-my fault?" He chuckled weirdly. "Is there a problem, miss?" A waiter came up to our table. "Well, yeah. We would love to pay, please." "Of course." After Dylan paid you took his hand and walked out of  the restaurant. "I am so, so, sorry. Really, Dylan. I ruined it." "No. No you didn't. If anything, he did. It's not even ruined. I had a great evening. And-" You interrupted him when you saw your ex walking towards you two on the parking lot. "Oh damn. You know, he can get aggressive." Dylan turned around and looked back at you. "I told you to stay away from me." "I wanna fight for you. With him." Dylan's eyes widened. "No y/ex/n. I don't want you  to fight for me. Even if you'd win I'd still go with Dylan because he appreciates me as a person. You are just a jerk. A selfish asshole. Got it? Now leave us alone." A little anxious you dug your nails in Dylan's arm while holding onto it. Unexpectedly your ex tried to punch Dylan but he stepped aside in the last moment, dragging you with him. "Try that again, and you'll regret it." Dylan warned him, standing in front of you. "Step away. He's definitely gonna try it again." Dylan whispered and you obeyed. He was right. Only seconds later he tried it again but Dylan got hold of his fist and turned his arm around making him wince in pain after pushing his arm onto his back. Dylan was in total control of him. You never knew he could do that. "Leave her alone. Get over it. She's moved on, so should you." Dylan let go of him. You knew he wouldn't hurt anyone just because he can, he only did that for you. Well, and to protect himself of course. "Come on." You walked to his car before quickly getting inside. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, I mean I'm not like that normally I just wanted to help you and I mean he wanted to-" Dylan rambled on but you cut him off. "Dyl, it's okay. You were protecting yourself it's okay. I'm not mad or anything. I'm thankful. I'm pretty sure he won't come near me again." You chuckled while placing your hand on his leg while he was driving. He inhaled sharply causing you to grin proudly. "I never knew you could do something like that. To be honest I thought it was kinda hot." Just because you loved teasing him. Your hand wandered a little bit farther up his leg. "Y-yeah?" Nervously he gave you a short look before turning his head back to the street. Dylan swallowed heavily. "Y-Y/N. I'm driving." "And?" Again your hand wandered up his leg. "Where are we even going?" You asked smiling, leaving your hand right there where it was. "I, I thought, M-my be the park?" "Sounds good to me." After a few minutes you arrived at the park. He stopped the car and looked at your hand on his leg. "I mean, you know, your hand is on my leg, at a place where it shouldn't be, especially when I'm driving. So I think at least a kiss would be fair." "You think?" "I do." He smiles, proud of his suggestion. "If you say so." You moved your head closer to him. Your grip on his thigh tightens leaving him startled but he didn't get the opportunity to say something when you capture his lips with yours. You didn't loosen your grip while kissing him passionately. "You're mean. Like, really mean." He stated after the kiss. "No I'm not." You let go of his leg laughing innocently. "Let's for a walk then, shall we?" You asked opening the door to the passenger seat.
