"Hey Baby." You pick up your phone. "Hey gorgeous." "You don't even know what I look like right now." You chuckle. "I know that you are always gorgeous. So how's it going? I will be back soon." "I miss you." "I miss you too. But you know that these were only four days?" He snickers. His birthday's today and you're planning a surprise party for when he gets home in a few hours. "Do you know what day it is baby?" "Yeah Friday. Why?" "Oh nothing. Two hours then I'll be back. Gotta go. I love you (Y/N)." He speaks disappointed. "Love ya too Dyl." Then you hang up. You invited his closest friends. Julia comes earlier to help you set up everything. "Hey! Come in!" You welcome your boyfriend's sister when you open the door to yours and Dylan's apartment. "Hey! I'm so excited!" She states while hugging you. When you two are decorating everything she suddenly says: "Do you even know how happy you make Dyl?" "What?" You chuckle. "I mean it! You two are literally made for each other." "Well,  I know how happy he makes me." Smiling you hang up a balloon. "I just mean, before you two met he broke up with his ex and he was so down. But I haven't seen him really upset again in four years." Looking at you she gives you a smile. "Four years? I met him four years ag-oh!" Julia laughs. "Yeah I really love him. He's the best person I've ever met and that has ever happened to me." "Could you imagine having kids with Dylan?" She unexpectedly questions. "Julia!" "What? Look at Kaya. She's already pregnant too. And you can't tell me you've never thought about having kids." "Okay you got me on that one. To be honest, I couldn't think of a better dad for my kids. Although he's still a kid himself." Giggling you turn to Julia again. "Why can't I have a relationship like that?" She sighs before it turns into a laughter that you join quickly. When everything's done the guests arrive and Julia and you welcome everyone. Dylan should be there any minute so you turn off the lights, place yourself in front of the door with the cake in your hand and tell everyone they should hide. Suddenly you hear that someone unlocks the door from the outside. Dylan enters the room and turns on the light. Everyone jumps out of their hiding spots and shouts 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!'. "Oh my Lord!" Dylan yells startled. "Relax it's just us. Happy 25th birthday to my lovely boyfriend!" You say while you place the cake on the table and jump in his arms. "You are crazy (Y/N). Thank you so much baby. I love you."
"Thank y'all so much guys! Well, I thought I could do this while (Y/N) and I are alone but I'll just do it now." He states loudly so everyone could hear him. Everyone has a questioning look on their face.  Suddenly Dylan kneels down in front of you taking out a little box. "Oh man I'm so bad at this." He mumbles looking down. When his eyes meet yours he begins talking. "Well I,  yeah you, um. Okay so, I love you so freakin' much. In fact you are the love of my life. And I know this is so cheesy I'm sorry." Startled you stand in front of him covering your mouth with your hands. "But you just make me so happy and you always make me smile. You have something magical that enchants me everytime anew. And I know for sure that I want to get enchanted by you for the rest of my life. So (Y/N) (Y/L/N). I wanna ask you now, do you want to make me the happiest man on earth and enchant me for the rest of my life?" You can't hold the tears back anymore. "Yes. Yes I, want to Dylan. More than anything else in this, world. He puts the ring on your finger and hugs you tightly. Everyone around you two cheers and applauds when you two finally kiss. "The best birthday ever." He whispers.
