"(Y/N) do you know how much this means to me??? It doesn't matter to you what I want, it's always about you! This is such a big chance for me and you wanna ruin it?! Can't you just be happy for me?!" Dylan yells at you. "If you go through that door now, it'll be over." He adds. You can't do that anymore. You love him so much but his job ruins everything. Not caring about the consequences you walk out the front door and get on your car.
**A few days later**
You stand in front of Dylan's appartment. Slowly you ring the doorbell. The door opens and he stands in front of you. Sadly you look down while saying: "I'm here to get my stuff." "Come in." Dylan croaks out in a shaky voice. Quickly you pass him and gather your things to make it less hard. When you got everything Dylan walks you to the door. "(Y/N)." He whispers almost crying. "Don't make it harder than it already is for me please. I love you. But it's too much. If you find stuff that belongs to me, you have my phone number." You look at him. One last time you kiss him before leaving the building. "I love you too." You hear him whisper.
**4 months later**
"You're still not over him (Y/N)? Really? You have to get out of here and meet some new people." Your best friend and roommate states.
"It's not like I'm completely alone! I still live my life! I just...miss him. I love him and I can't just stop with that! And as you can see I'm not one of these girls that only hang around at home, crying, eating chocolate and watching the same Romance over and over while looking at a picture of him."
"(Y/N) your background is still the photo of you two in your favorite café." She confronts you with a raised eyebrow.
"Okay! I get it! I'm not isolated from civilisation okay?"
"If you think so. But don't complain about being alone!"
**12 months after the break-up**
"Hello?" You pick up your phone while standing in the subway.
"Is this (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?" An unknown female voice asks. "Yeah that's me."
"I'm the assistant of Dylan O'Brien. A long time ago he told me, that if something happens to him I should call you." "What? What happened? Is Dyl okay?" Worried you ask a bunch of questions. "Well, he's in the hospital in Vancouver. He has to stay there for a while. He had an accident while filming on set of his new movie." "I, I'll come as soon as possible." After she told you where he is and where she will pick you up you hang up. At home you instantly pack a few things, you are going to take the plane. They say the management will pay for it because it's self-evident that someone has to come and see after him. And also because the accident happened while Dylan was working. In this night you can't fall asleep. Your head is filled with worries and thoughts. 'Why am I still his 'ICE'-contact?' You think. The next day approaches faster than you thought when you couldn't sleep. You have to be early at the airport so you immediately get up and eat breakfast.

1083 miles later the plane lands and you're finally at the airport in Vancouver. As you walk through the gate you are welcomed by a blonde, tall woman. You met her before but only 2 or 3 times because of Dylan's strict separation of work and private life. She's a nice woman and very heartily. Together you two make your way to the hospital while she explains to you what actually happened. You're shocked and get more and more worried about him. But he hasn't changed his emergency contact. Maybe he hasn't had another girlfriend since you broke up. Lost in your thoughts you two stop at a traffic light. "So (Y/N). Do you wanna visit him first or go to the hotel?" Her voice snaps you back into reality. Confused you respond: "What? Visit him." "Okay, now tell me what's going on between you and Dylan." "Huh?" "A year ago he was so down. And it stayed like that for so long." After you explain it to her she's not even surprised that Dylan hasn't changed the emergency contact. "Why aren't you surprised?" "He was never over you. He pretended to be, also he wasn't that down anymore, or well, I'd say he tried to act like it but Julia always sees when he's sad or stuff like that. She always asked me whether I'd know something. But I didn't." You can't believe what she just told you. "Really?" Quietly you ask. She nods. For the rest of the drive you stay quiet, thinking of what to say when you meet Dylan again. But she doesn't stop talking. A nice woman, though a little bit annoying. "Here it is." She states. You lift your head quickly and see that she parked the car in front of a big hospital. "C'mon." Inside of the building she just walks straight to the elevators. "(Y/N)?" She asks after entering the elevator. "Yeah?" "Well...um...He actually doesn't know I called you." "What?!" "He told me to call you in case of an emergency. I did. I just forgot to tell him." With a tensed jaw you sigh. Suddenly she leaves your side when you two stand in front of the door to his room. "Wait, where are you going?" "Getting some coffee." She winks at you before leaving you alone. The nervousness rushes through your whole body and you feel the adrenaline in your veins. After what felt like an hour you finally knock before opening the door. You see him sitting on his bed with a phone in his hand. His head turns to you and his eyes widen. "(Y/N)?" A tear rolls down your cheek. "Dylan." He gets off the bed and you run up to him before hugging him tightly. "Why are you here?" He asks. "Your assistant called me." "I thought it'd be over. WE would be over." "We..." You think for a second and don't know what to say. "We are." You add. "I'm sorry." Quickly you exit the room, the feelings overwhelming you. You need to sort your thoughts. Next to the door you sink to the ground and lean your back against the wall. "Is everything okay?" A nurse asks. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." You sob. The nurse walks off and you bury your face in your hands. After a while his assistant appears again. "Hey what happened?" "Nothing. Just go inside or so. I don't want to talk right now." Why did you say that? You love him more than anything. No one has ever made you as happy as he did. He always made you laugh even when you were down. When you were sad he always came up behind you and tickled you or things like that. The memories flood your head. Unintentionally you begin to smile. Then you remember the unnecessary fight. You think about how stupid this was. Suddenly the door next to you opens and Dylan walks out of the room. Immediately you get up. "Dylan." He turns around and spots you. "Dylan, I love you." You add. "And I missed you. So badly. I know I am the stupidest girl on this whole planet to leave you and I-" You get cut off by Dylan's lips on yours. He puts his hands on your waist and pulls you close. Surprised you hesitate but then put your arms around his neck. "I love you too. And I missed you even more. (Y/N) I know we can figure this out but please stay with me." "I will never leave you again." You say before kissing him cautiously because of his injury.
**Nine years later**
You are just sitting in the kitchen with your 4-year-old daughter Avery when you unexpectedly hear that the front door opens. "Both of you should better run or the tickle monster will get you." Your husband Dylan yells while he walks into the kitchen. Avery stands up and runs away from Dylan and so do you. He chases you two until he gets Avery and lifts her up, tickling her. When you walk closer to him he sits Avery cautiously down onto the couch and grabs your waist. He pulls you close and begins tickling you. "Stop it, Dyl!" You laugh. Your back faces his body before he stops tickling you and turns you around. Tightly he puts his arms around your waist and kisses you. "Eeeeew!" Avery whines on the couch covering her eyes with her little hands.
