               ~April~

Harry pulled up to a cute, two-story house in a suburb of Chesire. Light was flooding from the thinly curtained windows. We were the only ones out on the road. It was getting a bit late and the temperature had dropped about five degrees since we had been at the park. We were all exhausted, but the car had such a happy atmosphere, mostly from Harry’s huge grin, that we all rushed from the car with excitement to grab our stuff.

Louis helped me haul my suitcase up the front walk. Harry and Kris were already standing at the door and we were behind them, with everyone else still getting their stuff from the car parked in the road.

A moment later the door was being pulled open, and Harry’s mother was standing there with a huge grin.

“Harry!” She shouted, pulling him into a tight hug. They embraced for a long minute, and it warmed my heart to witness how happy they were to reunite.

Mrs. Styles pulled away and ushered us all in, calling her husband to come to the warm and cozy living room we were standing in. He came running down the stairs and they all hugged again, before Anne’s attention was turned on the girls and I, standing in an awkward lump away from where the guys were all talking to Harry’s dad.

“Oh, how lovely it is to meet all of you in person!” Anne exclaimed, rushing forward and giving all of us a quick hug, especially Kris. “I know Kris and April, you three are?”

“Erin,” Erin said with a huge grin.

“I’m Rikki,” Rhee introduced herself shyly.

“Heather!” The blonde girl stuck her hand out to shake. She was weird.

“Well, you girls must be starved. Dinner will be ready in a little bit, so you can go put your stuff in the guest bedrooms upstairs. Harry told me you were all coming for a visit, so I insisted you stay with us.”

Everyone picked up their luggage and we were directed up the stairs. Kris and Harry were staying in Harry’s old room, Zayn and Rikki in Gemma’s old room, and the rest of us were staying in guest rooms. Louis and I picked one with mint green wallpaper and light blue bedding, a dark mahogany dresser, and cream carpet. A few simple pieces of artwork were scattered around the walls, with dried and framed flowers sitting on the small bedside table along with a lamp.

“I honestly don’t understand how Harry’s family is so amazing,” I commented, making Louis laugh. He was setting our suitcases next to the dresser and our toiletry bags in the adjoining bathroom.

“They are pretty awesome,” He murmured in reply, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me and nuzzling his nose into my neck, “but so is yours.”

“True,” I chuckled as he tickled me, leaving little kisses on my neck.

“Girls! Dinner is ready!” I heard Anne call from downstairs. Reluctantly, I pulled away from Louis. As he sighed, I grabbed his hand and led him from the room.
