August Pov

When the surgeon came out the family stood up. Karma kept her attention on me. She took my hand. I felt all the anger and tense go away.

"I'm gonna go and smoke a blunt," I said getting up. Karma hand broke from mind as I got up.

I got in the car and rolled  it up. I lit it. I started smoking it and I felt all my worries go away.

I heard my phone ring. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was. It was my cousin Tony. I answered the phone.

"Wassup," I said slowly.

"Yo we found em," he said. My eyes got big.

"Nigga what," I asked.

"Those niggas that killed Mel," he said. I froze.

"We gon fly out tonight" I said before hanging up.

Karma Pov

"Can you hear me?" I asked Sierra.

"She can hear you but she might not respond," the nurse said. I nodded slowly.

"I'm sorry for kicking your ass," I apologized, "even though your bitch ass deserved it."

I'm so glad no one was in here. Cause I knew I was wrong.

"Okay but for real," I sighed, "if anything were to happen to you I couldn't live with myself."

I started to hear her groan. Like she was trying to say something. Her and reached up hand felt it's way to mine.

"You," she groaned, "not..sorry." I was confused. But when she touched her chest I got it.

"Sorry," she said opening her eyes. Her eyes where almost blood shot red. But they were a different color.

"I'm sorry," she clearly said, "thank you." Wow. I never heard her apologize.

"Your welcome," I said squeezing her hand. She smiled not showing her teeth.  I gave her a smile before letting go of her hand and walking out.

"Karma," I heard her voice say. I turned back around.

"August never cheated," she sighed, "when yall first got together me and him had a more than friends relationship but he broke it off."

It felt good to know that he didn't cheat.

"Thank you Sierra," I said , "just wait you'll find someone else I promise." I walked out and went into the waiting room.

"She can talk now," I said to the family.

"Thank you," they all said in unison.

"Come on Jacob," I grabbed his hand.

When we got in the car I looked at Jacob. Haha. Him and Sierra would be the cutest couple ever. Well besides me and August. Ya know.

Hey my little monkeys. I haven't updated in like two days but I was getting ready to go back to school (which never happened). I LOVE Y'ALL SO FREAKING MUCH. If you didn't know this book has 10K reads. Love y'all so dearly.
