I snatched a newspaper out of the bin and hastily scanned the front page and groaned aloud. Ignoring curious looks and annoyed glares, I read the whole page dedicated to Monday's fight. This school year got off to a smashing start. Jack Carter, who's currently serving a three day in school suspension , agrees. "I totally killed him, couldn't even grow a punch." When asked about the fight, Chasten simply said: "No comment." At this, I snorted in victory, glad I got some sort of triumph. Amanda couldn't even get a response out of him. After telling Jack this, he laughed. When asked what was so funny, he said, "He's to chicken to even comment on the fight. What a loser."
From multiple witness, and Jack himself, the fight appears to be a short one. After Chasten fell, Jack reportedly pushed him against the lockers and pinned him. After that, he was seen punching him in the jaw, nose and head. After taking a sucker puck, Chasten fell and teachers rushed in, taking Chasten to the nurse.
Ms. Perry commented saying that "Chasten was to fragile to be moved to the hospital. He didn't need to though, his head trauma was not great enough." Chasten was confined in the nurses office until finally waking up around 4.

I huffed in frustration. Way to go Amanda, writing another A+ article and making my dream of becoming the school's best journalist nothing but a fantasy. Little-
My thoughts were interrupted by Chasten, who quietly leaned down and grabbed a newspaper from the bin. He read it, neck bent and lips pressed into a thin line. Suddenly, he burst out in a aggravated yell.
"Oh please, lying rug." That earned several curious glances and stares and as if not even looking up, he clamped his mouth shut and tucked the newspaper under his arm, his stride long and hurried.
Where is he going? I wondered, drifting behind him. Almost immediately, his head whipped around and gave me a hard stare. I raised my eyebrows and tried to look innocent, but he darted into the boy's bathroom. I rolled my eyes and cursed Chasten for being so smart. It's not like I can just wait out here until he comes out. I'm already labeled as a stalker, don't need anymore 'proof.'
I gave a sigh of frustration and stalked back to the lounge to get my stuff. In my backpack's place, was silly string and a note. I blinked rapidly, trying to hold back tears. I gingerly picked it up and read it. I stiffened when I saw the hand writing. Perfect cursive.
Have fun reading the newspaper? I had fun writing it. Oh, and when you go to the News room, there's a little surprise waiting for you. - #1
I threw the note down and hurriedly wiped my hand across my face, erasing the tears. Stupid Amanda. I felt wimpy and weak. Like wet trash. She's always going to be better, I thought. But then my resolve hardened. Not if I can help it. Something odd is going on with Chasten, and I intend to write a very long story about it.
Well, well, well! Isn't it my favorite people in the world, people who read my stories! Hello and thank you for reading the new chapter even though I haven't updated in awhile...
Where do you think Chasten is going? What did he react too? Leave comments here with you theories 'cause I want to hear them.
