Mark frowned and looked away. "he isn't a bad influence" jack said. mrs. ray sighed, "jack, you're a smart kid. don't hanging around with bad kids just to be cool" she said seriously. "b-but he isn't bad!" jack said.
Mark glared at the teacher, "A little too late for you to be telling Jack to stop hanging around me.". marky felt like something bad was gonna happen so he gently grabbed jack and pulled him back. "and why is that" mrs. ray asked
"Because I already fell in love with him and I'm not letting him go." mark said. "that doesn't him, he loves you back" mrs. ray said sternly. jack was about say something but marky gave him a worried look.
"Well, he wouldn't have accepted my proposal then, would he?" Mark said calmly. "but that still doesn't mean he might not want to be with you anymore and will never marry you again. which is fine, he can go to college and get a job he likes instead of being with someone like you" mrs. ray spat. marky growled under his breath
"Oh, is that what your ex-husband did? If so, I know why he left." Mark said with an emotionless expression in his face. "guy! we need to go!' marky said sternly surprising jack, mark, and mrs. ray
Mark glared at Mrs. Ray, "Good luck finding love." He turned around, and added, "You'll need it" before walking to Teddy and Jack. jack walked over to mark and hugged him.
Mark blushed and hugged back, but his face was still expressionless. "are y-you ok?" jack said softly
Mark only nodded. jack frowned and looked worriedly at marky, marky sighed and shook his head a bit
Mark ruffled Jack's hair before pulling away from the hug and starting to walk. jack sighed and started walking beside marky
Mark felt horrible, Was he getting in the way of Jack's education and life? What if What Mrs. Ray said was true? jack wanted to see what was wrong mark but i wanted to give mark space
Mark felt like he was about to break down. marky felt something was wrong so he walked over to mark and put a hand on his shoulder.
