I've been avoided Ron since that night and I've decided I'm going to be going home for Christmas this year even though everyone else is, the only problem is do I buy Ron a present or not?

Hermione have told Harry about me liking Ron, he was really supportive and comforting whenever the newly couple was around also trying to do something stupid or say a bad cheesy joke to make me laugh and not think about Ron. It actually worked though which was surprising.  

"I don't know what to do?"I say to Hermione as I look around the shop 

"You have to do whatever you want to do"

"I might buy him something as a back up, in case he happens to get me something which I doubt as I've been ignoring him"

She nods ok and I pull a book about Quidditch and a framed old Quidditch World Cup ticket from around 80 years ago. We do a bit more Christmas Shopping then stop off at the Three Broomsticks to get a Butterbeer before heading back to the castle not without me getting some more Acid Pops on the way first. When we get back to the castle I decide to do my homework whilst Hermione have gone off to the Library 

Time Skip

I enter the Library and look down each aisle, sometimes I wish the library here wasn't actually that big then it wouldn't take me forever to find Hermione

" She's only interested in you because she thinks you're the chosen one" Hermione says to Harry as I walk down the aisle towards them 

"But I am the chosen one" Harry responds resulting in a smack to the head by the some papers 

"Sassy much" I laugh now standing next to him 

"Ah Ley, perfect timing." Hermione smiles 

"Really?" I chuckle 

"Are you busy tomorrow night?" Harry asks 

"No, why?"

"Would you like to attend the Christmas Party with me?"

"Go on on then, only cause you got no one to go with and I could never let me bestie turn up alone and make a fool of himself" I smirk 

"Thank you"

Next Night

I look in the mirror and smile, I haven't worn this dress in ages. Hermione appears next to me also smiling into the mirror. 

"Ready?"

"Yeah, so who are you taking?"

"Cormac"

"What? Why him?"

"It's a small revenge to Ron because of what he did to you"

"Your inner Slytherin is starting to appear Granger" I laugh

When we arrive we are quickly approached by Neville offering us a drink. "Thank you" I smile taking a glass of the tray. 

"Why on earth did she bring him?" Harry asks as we look in the direction of Cormac and Hermione 

"Inner Slytherin came out to get one up on Ron"

"Oh, You know he will come to his senses soon"

"I highly doubt that, I heard them talking about the future and everything the other day. Looks like I need to finally move on from this crush and get a life" I chuckle 

We spot Hermione walking behind the curtain so I shove Harry in her direction as I can only assume she's hiding from Cormac so I would only laugh after hearing how cringe he is giving us away and I want to find Neville for another drink, it's one of the best drinks I've tried. 

"Hey, can I have some?" Hermione asks 

I nod my head yes giving her the glass as we watch Harry and Cormac. 

"Eww, gross" Hermine cringe as we watch Cormac throw up on Snape's shoes whilst I on the other hand find it hilarious and can't stop laughing. 

"I'd stop laughing if I was you Davies" Snape mutters to me as he walks pass causing me to immediately go silent followed by everyone else also going quiet as Filch enters with Draco Malfoy who turned out to be gate crashing the part. 

Why would Malfoy want to attend this party? Thought it isn't his thing.

I finish up my drink then I decide to call it a night and leave. I say the password and walk though into the common room finding Ron and Lavender cuddled up, I think I may have vomit in my mouth and bore pieces of my heart breaking off.

"Hey, where have you been?" Ron smiles

I ignore him and quickly go up to the dormitory where I allow the tears to escape as soon as I get into bed. Will the hurt ever go away?
