The next morning I get ready and decide to make my hair straight, once I'm ready me and Hermione make our way to the Great Hall and eat breakfast.

"Here's your timetable Miss Davies" Flitwick smiles

"Thank you professor" I smile taking my timetable off him ten comparing mine with Hermione's

"Potions first, lets see how different it will be without Snape teaching it"

"It will probably be better"

"Probably, Slughorn seemed nice last nice"

We finish eating saying bye to the boys as they have a free period and we head to the classroom.

Time Skip

Slughorn was in the middle of talking to us all when Harry and Ron walks into the class causing him to stop and turn around "Ah, Harry my boy I was beginning to worry. You've brought someone with us I see"

"Ron Weasley Sir, but I'm dead awful at Potions a menace actually so I'm probably just going to"

He tries to back out the class but Harry stops him

"Nonsense we'll sort you out, any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine. Get your books out"

"Sorry sir I haven't actually got my book yet, nor has Ron"

"Not to worry, get what you want from the cupboard"

Whilst they go to get some books Hermione nudges me causing me to look at her where she motions her head to Lavender Brown next to her. I pull a confuse face but shrug it off and look at Lavender. She's looking at Ron, eyes full of lust.

"No way" I whisper

"Looks like you need to admit your feelings before it's too late and someone else takes him" Hermione whispers back

Of course as nerdy as Hermione is, she's the first to put her hand up and talk about the potions and their ingredients. Yes we are the same but I would never be the same as her by answering questions willingly, I'm too shy for that.

So the love potion is probably one of the most dangers potions, then why the hell are the twins selling it? I hope they've been made correctly or they could be getting closed down.

We all go to a work space turning our books open to the correct page. I look down at the bloody bean deciding how the hell I'm meant to cut it without it either taking off across the table or worse across the classroom. Who is this person who have done it correctly in the past? I want a nice chat with him about how on earth I'm meant to control this bean.

"How did you do that?" Hermione asks
