The Great Plague | Cryaotic x Reader

Chapter Four

 "I can't wait to see him..," I whisper with a smile on my face. I follow the road all the way to the training building. I set down my backpack and unload my knives and my guns, only grabbing one of each and hooking it on my pants. I pack everything else up, walking over to the weapons on the wall.

 "Let's see, I'll need two long range weapons that aren't a tiny pistol or knife. Ooh, what about this baby?" I mumble, holding up a M98 and pulling down a crossbow. "Fuck yeah!" I whisper, congratulating myself on my new toy.

 I pull the crossbow strap around my back and start aiming with the M98 on a dummy. I look through the sight and go for a headshot. I steady my breathing and aim for the middle of the head, right between the eyes. I pull the trigger while I hold my breath.

 "Bullseye!" I yell setting the sniper rifle down while setting up the crossbow with arrows. I look through the sight and aim for the heart of the dummy. This should be easy. I relax my fingers on the trigger and pull. I listen to the arrow fly out and hit the targetted spot. I love these weapons, I've never had this much accuracy with long-range weapons like I have for these.

 I walk over to the small wall and hop over it, walking to the dummy to grab the arrow. I grab it then begin to walk back. Well, today has been fun! I look at the clock on the wall, it's time to go meet up with the others. I pack up everything but I grab the crossbow and sniper and put it in my bag also putting in a quiver filled with arrows and sniper rifle ammo.

 I pull the bag over my shoulders and begin to walk towards the main base where everyone else should be heading. I can't wait to see you, Cry.

 I walk down the quiet road to the main base alone. I should be only a couple of minutes away from it now. I've already been told all my crew members. Its Cry, a girl named Jasmine, another girl named Maria, and a boy named Ronin. The girl Jasmine has an almost mocha brown skin tone with a dark brown eye color. Her hair is a dark chocolate color in multiple braids. The other girl, Andrea, has dark charcoal color for her hair with a color similar to caramel as her skin tone while her eyes are a hazel brown. Her hair is pulled back with a blue bow. I don't know their outfits since I saw them last week.

The boy, Ronin, has raven black hair with sapphire blue eyes as well as a similar caramel skin tone as Andrea. His hair is similar to a crew cut but parted. I last saw him yesterday. The last time I remember seeing Cry, he had ruffled hair (due to no hairbrushes), coffee colored hair, with sky blue eyes and a light peach skin tone.

I look up to see the big brick building. This is my destination.
