"You're the Southern United States of America, and you're my little sister!"

The two were sitting on the front porch drinking tea and nibbling on sandwiches when Alfred finished. The sky consisted of various shades of pink, orange, and purple as the sun set for the day. Alfred was at peace, he was happy to not be alone anymore.

"I don't like that name...and how did you figure that out?"

"Hm? Ah, don't worry, doesn't matter, just take my word for it" Alfred was too busy watching the sky's transition and reflecting on what had happened that day to hear what the girl had to say.

"'Southern United States of America is too long of a name in my opinion."

"I know people who have waaaay longer names, usually us nations shorten them - for instance my name is The United States of America but America is the nickname I go by, and Arthur, his real name is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland."

"Is it possible to have my name changed?"

"To what? Since I'm the country I have to make it official."

"I'm not sure, could you help me Alfred?"

"Sure, anything for you"
