Chapter 14: Gone and forgotten

"You guys we cant stay here if she knows, this isnt safe for anyone"
i heard someone as I was trying to open my eyes while my body is demanding more sleep. I saw someone who I think was Sam talking to someone, my vision is still blurry and I have a massive headache. Starbucks sounds good right now

As I sat up I started getting flashbacks, my family think im dead. It wasn't a dream, was it?

"I can't lose her, not again" I overheard Sam
"You can't lose who?" I asked
Sam and Tori turned around with a worried look on their faces, must've been because of everything that went down.

"Hey you okay? How you feeling?" Sam asked as he put his hand on my shoulder
"Get your hand off me!" I yelled at Sam and pushed his hand away
"You cant keep me like a prisoner here, i need to go back to my family they need to know Im alive"

"You cant go back Alex" Tori said
"I sure as hell can"
"Alex you gotta listen to us..."
I interrupted Sam as I ran out the door through the darkness of the streets, not knowing where I was going and no plan in mind. 
I ran across the street as I heard Sam yelling
"Alex please stop come back here!"
I quickly entered a what looked like an empty alley as I saw two men sitting, I quickly approached them and asked if I could use a cellphone and dial 911.

"Excuse me sir.." i paused trying to catch my breath from the long run
"Can I.. can I use a cellphone?"
One of the men started walking towards me "does it look like we carry cellphones?" His voice sent shivers down my body. I tried leaving in hopes of finding someone else but the man held my arm really tightly and stopped me
"You think you can come to someones houses and have nothing to offer?" He said with a grin that showed his yellow teeth
"Please let go you're hurting me"
"You're not going anywhere right now" The other man eyed me down as he was coming closer.

              Flashbacks
"We could use that body of yours"
"You're gonna be here for a long time"

My heart was beating rapidly, i couldnt breath, i was dizzy and nauseous, and felt like im gonna die right here at this moment. Its like im striped from all control, the world is spinning out from under me and theres nothing to hold me down

"Hey let her go!" A familiar voice was coming closer
My body didn't help me. I was trying to move, trying to turn around but it was like my feet were nailed to the ground and my body was disconnected from me
The men ran away as I fell to the ground, I looked up and saw Sam coming towards me

"Alex, you're okay you're gonna be fine"
I could feel the strength in his arms as he wrapped them around me, pulling me closer to him. Despite the heaviness in my stomach it fluttered at the feeling of his body against mine. In his arms I was safe, and thats all that mattered right now.

Short chapter this week, but next week's chapter is gonna be longer i promise
