Chapter 7: Settling

"its getting late, here's dinner and get rest and we will talk to you tomorrow" Brandon and Victoria walked out. "Wait!" i quickly jumped. "Can victoria spend the night here?" they started looking at each other, i really wanted her to stay she seemed nice and chill plus, this place is big and im a bit scared.

"Um do you wan..." before he could continue "Yeah sure i'd love to!" She said with a smile on her face. "okay so ill leave you two girls here and ill be back early in the morning!" he left. "Bye brandon and thanks" .. "no problem" he smiled back

Victoria walked and sat on the couch and started watching TV "Come sit" so i went..  "So tell me!" she turned and looked at me. "tell you what?" i was honestly confused, why is she excited? "How did you end up being with them?" she continued to chew her gum "Them?" .. "Yeah you know Sam and all" oh the kidnapp. 

"Oh you know, i walked out of school and ended up in a room tied, nothing much" mark my sarcasm. "im surprised they didn't kill you" she said while playing with her hair "they did much worse" i looked down, remembring everything that happened..from the night i got high to killing that man. 

"worse as in?" she looked at me. "they.... made me take drugs so i um" i started crying again. "i liked the fact that it makes me forget everything for a while so i took more" She then wiped my tears away and patted my shoulder. "Alex... i was in your place once, i know its hard but thats why im here we're gonna help you make it, we just met but i want you to know that you can trust me" she assured me with a smile. 

"thank you" i hugged her. "No problem, now go eat then sleep, ill sleep on the sofa here." She leaned back "im actually full so ill head to bed, night" i walked away...  "good night" 

i went to my big room that has a king sized bed and got under the sheets.. thinking and thinking till i finally slept. 

"Rise and shine Alex, breakfast is ready" Victoria pulled away the blanket. It was 9 AM. "Ill be right there" Its nothing like when i was there, here im free i can do whatever i want. Thank you sam. 

I got up, tied my hair and went to the dining room "oo smells good" I smiled at Victoria and Brandon. "Yeah i hope it tastes good too" Brandon chuckled. "heey you know im a good cook" Victoria put our plates with an omlete and mini hotdogs. "should i remind you of the many times you almost burned down the house?" he teased her. "It was a one time thing, and atleast i can cook" she pinched him  and he laughed

"what about you Alex, do you cook?" Victoria asked me while she poured us tea. "Umm i can make cereal" i laughed. "okay now eat and tell me if its good.. and it better be good!" she looked at brandon. When we were done eating we sat and Brandon turned on MTV "Oh Vic. look its your gay boy" He said pointing at Justin bieber on the screen. "He isn't gay, how jealous are you?" Victoria turned on the volume. "Alex, do you like him?" Brandon asked me but its like he wanted me to say no. "Umm he's hot and i wont deny he has some good songs.." I answered him. i looked at my phone when i saw a text message from Sam 

From:/unknown

"Hey its Sam how are you doing? i will come soon, sorry for everything"

To: Sam

"Im doing great, Victoria and Brandon are really nice, thank you for helping me."

I locked my phone and joined the conversation. "So how do you guys know Sam?" i had alot of questions. "Me and Sam are childhood friends" Brandon said. "why did you guys help me?" i asked them. they looked at each other "Listen Alex, I wanted Sam to be here when we tell you but i will just say something...Me, Victoria and some others were in the same place as you. These monsters kidnapped us and made us druggies and killers. until this guy..." he stopped and then Victoria held his hand and nodded "He.. um he helped us but when Derick found out he tortured him and killed him. We had to go to rehab for 2 years but we are finally good" .. "And we will help you" victoria looked at me. "what about Sam? will Derick kill him too? and why is he still with them why didn't anyone save him?!" my voice tone went higher. 

"Derick Can't put a hand on Sam, he has something that is making Derick scared of him" Victoria told me. "You know Alex, that Sam wanted them to take you but he didn't know it will go that far thats why he's helping you" she continued. "you will come to school with us, we will take you to rehab" 

"i miss my family.. and friends" .."We know that, and I will try to get you to see them" 

"As for now lets go see a movie,i already have tickets." so i guess Victoria is the kind of person trying to change the intense mood. "Sure, lets go" i said. We got in Brandon's car and went to the cinema on our way was just basically Victoria fooling around and singing. I wish i could get better and be like before again, just like them. If they can do it i can, right? 

"So what movie are we watching?" Brandon looked at Victoria. 

"its a surprise" Vic. teased " I swear if it was a justin bieber movie... " He raised an eyebrow. 

"Its not, i swear" Victoria chuckled.
