Mabel's POV
I ran downstairs with the others close behind. We grabbed the first thing we could find on our way out the door and used it as a weapon.
I signaled everyone to be quiet as we tiptoed into the living room. We looked around but it was hard to see in the dark
However, you could tell that whatever broke into our house trashed the whole room.
The silence was broken by a small cough and a groan. We raised our weapons and cautiously made our way over to where the noise came from.
When we got into view of it I saw...DIPPER?!
"OMG Dipper! Are you okay? What happened? Who did this? Why-" I was cut of by Dipper.
"Woah, Mabel, one question at a time. Can you girls help me up?" He was under a whole pile of wood and debris.
"Oh, yeah," I said while helping him up.
"So what did happen, anyway?" Grenda asked.
"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I was asleep on the couch one minute, and the next I'm being thrown into the wall by something," he answered.
He could barely walk but refused to let anyone help him. Gosh, he's so stubborn.
"Come on Dipper, just let us help you walk," Pacifica said frustrated.
"No, I'm fine. I can walk by myself." He took one step and fell flat on his face. "Okay fine, you can help me, I guess."
Pacifica rushed to his side, before Wendy could get to him.
"So which direction did that 'thing' go," Candy asked.
"I think it ran into the kitchen," Dipper stated as Pacifica guided him.
We made our way to the kitchen to see the same mess as the living room.
"So, where is it?" Wendy asked worriedly.
"Hmm... maybe it left," Grenda said unsure of herself. As if on cue, that 'thing' busted from the gift shop into the kitchen.
"AHHHHH!" We all screamed in unison.
"Girls, get out! I can handle this," Dipper yelled while whipping out his journal.
"No way, Dipper! You can barely stand on your own!" I yelled back.
"I know, Mabel. Don't worry, just trust me," he whispered that last part. I looked around at everyone one else and made my decision.
"Okay, Dipper, I trust you," I said quietly as I pulled everyone except Dipper outside.
"Mabel! Are you CRAZY?!" Pacifica screamed. "He's gonna die in there if we don't help him!"
I didn't listen to her. I didn't listen to anyone. I just knew that I had to trust Dipper because if I can't trust him, then I can't trust anyone. That's when we heard Dipper chanting some spell.
We all stood outside, holding our breath, waiting for something to happen. Anything. It had been quiet for too long. Then, we saw Dipper trip out the door and on to the grass. I was about to run up to him, but that 'thing' fell out the door after him.
"Dipper? Wait the heck did you do to it?" Candy asked.
"I don't really know. I was just kind of winging it," he stated blankly.
"Well, don't ever do that again," Pacifica scolded, "you could have died in there."
"Yeah," Dipper laughed.
"It's not funny, Dip. You really could have," I said.
"Yeah but I do this kind of stuff everyday. I almost died earlier today when I was in the woods." He said it like it was no big deal. "And I guess now you know to trust me."
"Yeah but..." I started but never finished.
"C'mon, lets just head inside," Grenda suggested. We all went inside and went back to bed.
I can't believe I actually let Dipper do that on his own. I mean, we're a team. Next time, I'm not gonna leave his side, no matter what he says.
Time Skip to Later in The Day
"KIDS!!!!" I woke up to a voice yelling from downstairs. I made my way down to see Dipper casually at the kitchen table eating his breakfast.
"What happened to my house!" Stan yelled again.
"My house," I heard a faint voice call from the basement. It was Grunkle Ford.
"What are you talking about?" Dipper asked innocently. He winked at me.
"Yeah what do you mean, Grunkle Stan?" I asked playing along.
"I'm not playing games, kids! What did you do?!" He hollered getting angrier by the second.
"I have no clue what you mean. Man, you must be getting old," Dipper joked.
"Old! Ugh, you know what? I don't care what happened. Just CLEAN IT UP!" He screamed in Dipper's face. That didn't make him crack.
"Still don't know what you mean," Dipper mumbled.
"You know what, you can clean this up my yourself, you little brat. And repaint the Shack, and do all the yard work, and chop the wood, and..." the list just went on and on.
"Oh come on Grunkle Stan! I was only joking!" Dipper laughed while following him out into the store.
I giggled at Dipper and Stan. That's kind of how they bonded, by getting on each other's nerves.
"What's going on down here?" Pacifica asked. "What's with all the yelling?"
"Oh it was just Dip and Stan messing around with each other. Now Dipper's gotta do all the work," I laughed.
We look out the window and see Dipper chopping the wood. It wasn't that interesting so I went in the living room and watched TV with Grenda. The others just drooled over Dipper without a shirt on.
"Hey Grenda, you want to see something funny?"
"Yeah!" She bellowed in her deep man voice. I pulled out my camera and took a picture of the three making goo goo eyes at my brother.
"Scrapbook-ortunity!" I yelled.
They all looked back at me and started chasing me. I ran outside screaming Dipper's name until Wendy tackled me.
"Stop Mabel! Give it to us!" She screamed.
They ripped it out of my hand, but it was a fake picture. Grenda had the real one.
"MABEL!" They yelled in unison.
