my friend group is the world
constantly fighting with each other
backing each other up
but what makes me upset is when I, the Leader of the UN
has to deal with every single fucking complaint
i cant sign every damn treaty for you
i cant fucking slam a rubber stamp down on your appeal for war
i definitely cant handle Poland's problems when Greenland, Italy, and Germany are slamming their decrees down on my desk
and i sure as hell cant just leave a meeting because then I'm the reason everyone is fighting
and for gods sake, we cant just be fucking civil
no that would be too hard
it's like the Geneva Conventions were lost in a standoff and now i'm forced to mediate conversations
i cant play Switzerland when Germany and Greenland are at each other's throats
am i allowed to make a decree that "enough is enough"?
am i allowed to issue a permanent cease fire, no strings attached?
how is it that the one in charge is constantly having to deal with other people's battles
how is it that my map is constantly covered with notes displaying that "so-and-so hate each other"
sometimes the flow of information to my brain is at a fever pitch
and i get that we all have issues
and we all have problems
but sometimes
i just want to say
"go fight your own fucking battle for once"
and burn the map to ashes
