Well since I don't have 13 tracks to go through here, I'm going to go a little more in-depth with these individual songs: where they fit in the story, why I chose them, and how I used them.

To start with, we have our theme song for this story, Against the Sun:

To me, this song kind of embodies the "Get up, make the most of the day, and perhaps save the world while you're at it" theme that I intended with CTW. The title of the story, Chase The Wind, came from the opening line as a matter of fact. The line "live every day as if it's your last" is kind of what our protagonists were avoiding for the entirety of the story; hemming and hawing and putting off what might never have happened if circumstances had lined up differently. "Our memories burn bright like beacons of the past" also sets up WTE quite nicely.

Next, of course, we have the Doomsday theme from Doctor Who, the soundtrack for the prologue, which, while lyric-less, is probably one of the most poignant pieces of music in the series.

At this moment, I'm realizing I actually have surprisingly few lyrical songs for this story--most of them found their way over into WTE and this ended up being mainly instrumental. We do, however, have Mountains and Molehills, the song from the post-Family of Blood interlude of the same name.

Mainly this was just about how some of the very big things get glossed over--the title of that chapter was originally going to "Turning a Mountain into a Molehill," the opposite of the typical phrase, and, yes, the song, but sue me.

Lastly, I have a Disney song, because sue me again.

Sorry not sorry, but it just fits the last chapter to a T. "All that time, never even knowing just how blind I've been"? "If she's here, it's crystal clear, I'm where I'm meant to go"? Yup, it's perfect.

And, well, if you need more music, I've got probably seven hours of mainly instrumentals you can go listen to in part 1 of this ;D And the WTE edition of this is going to be muuuuch longer.
