I Love you

I watched Mizuki looking at the moon with wonder as her gaze changed to my direction and I turned away quickly walking away as memories from the other day burned into my mind. I signed and stopped and brought my hand to my neck as I wondered why she is effecting me this way.

"Zero!! I've been looking for you" Yuki's loud voice made me look at her with annoyance. She walked up to me and grabbed my hand and dragged me with her as I said "Yuki, where are you taking me!!!" She ignored me and continued to drag me along.

A purebloods presence was noticeable as I stopped and pulled out my gun as footsteps where heard. I pulled Yuki behind me as familiar wavy hair came into view as their large reddish brown eyes looked at me with curiosity. Mizuki looked at me and then Yuki as her stoic face looked to the ground. Yuki pulled away as she said "Senpai, you both must work things out!!"

Mizuki looked at me emotionlessly as I frowned and said "There's nothing to work out, she's a pureblood and I'm a hunter. It was all just a game none of it was real." She looked away as her bangs covered her eyes as I continued "It was all pretend, I was only trying to be nice for once. None of it was real so we should stop pretending" Yuki looked shocked and then glared as I looked at Mizuki as my eyes widened.

Tears flowed down her pale face quickly as she turned away quickly and ran. I stepped forward but was frozen in place. "Zero, what was that!!" Yuki yelled but all I could think about was Mizuki's tear stained face. Yuki kept yelling at me until I ran trying to find  her.

I ran faster and faster looking everywhere until I heard soft sniffling as I turned my head and looked upwards and saw Mizuki walking into her room from the balcony as I ran to the entrance of the night dorms. I stopped when Kuran stood there with anger radiating off him. I glared at him as he did to me.

He stepped forward when the next thing I know he's holding my neck and I have my gun pointed at his heart. I looked into his brown eyes as his grip tightened and his eyes glow as my vision get blurry and I fall onto the cold floor.

A nice breeze was very relaxing as small hands wrapped around my waist as I opened my eyes slowly as spot a small girl holding me gently as her long wavy reddish brown hair sprawled around her. Mizuki.......

I stood up and watched as her eyes fluttered open met my gaze as she smiled warmly at me as stood up with me. "We're here again, Zero" she said as her voice made my stomach do flips. Her hands grazed over the green grass as she touched a flower as it bloomed fully. "Where are we?? How are you talking??? Why am I here??" I questioned as she smiled.

She brought her hands to my cheeks as she said "It's been so long since I've been able to feel your warmth, I missed you" I relaxed against her touch as our foreheads touched as her eyes closed. "You don't remember do you?" She asked and I stayed silent wondering what there is to remember. "I thought so, I'll give you back those memories I took. I hope your not mad at me for doing this" she smiled and opened her eyes.

She kissed my forehead as her body glowed and her hands started fading as I panicked and said "Please keep smiling for me, I'm so happy to have met you again. I love you, goodbye" I reached forward and embraced her but she faded as soon as I touched her and fell to the ground but everything went black as I kept falling into the darkness.

There was a light bright as lost memories burned into my mind as I closed my eyes tightly from the new knowledge. Mizuki!!!!!

My eyes snap open as Kaname stares down at me and walks away and says "Hurry up, and find my sister. You dumb vampire" I stand up grabbing my head and look up at the night dorms.

My hands gripped the door as I hesitated to open it, I stepped back. "I'm sorry, Mizuki" I said quietly as I turned away but saw Kaname. "I trusted you with my sister, I can't believe I'm saying this but your the only one she needs right now" he said as his eyes glowed and her door opened as he pushed me in as the doors locked.

I looked up and saw Mizuki on the floor as a looked out the balcony as pictures we're sprawled all over the floor. I walked closer and saw pictures of me and Mizuki, and others we're of her parents.

I stepped forward as I said "So we met each other when we were kids, you knew who I was from the beginning." She stayed quiet until her pen hit the paper as I saw her neat handwriting ' When I woke up and saw you I was so happy to know that the boy from back then had come back to me, but I realized that you didn't remember me. We became friends again, you treated me kindly like the girl I used to be back then. But I always had to ruin it with my decisions. I got lost....I couldn't decide if I wanted you to remember or remain clueless. I saw how much you where suffering but you had Yuki to help you, I didn't want to risk anything. Even if I miss you I wanted you to be smiling at me just like those days.'

"I was happy, I was happy with you because I knew we had each other. Nothing could ever separate us, I didn't need anything us. Mizuki....I ... I want to be with you" I said confidently as I stepped forward as her head bowed down as she wrote down ' I can't, I'll only bring more misfortune. Because of me everyone dies, my parents, Shizuka, I don't want to lose anyone else' I clenched my jaw as I tried touching her but got knocked down.

' don't come any closer, I'll hurt you. I don't want to hurt you anymore. So please stay away from me' I glared but got up as I felt another force hit me but I kept reaching out. I gripped her shoulders and turned her around as tears flowed freely down her face as I brought her into my arms.

"I don't care what you are r what you've done, I have a reason to live. Because I love you, no matter might happen from here on out. I'll protect you, I promise" I said softly to her as I pulled her closer to me as she cried silently.

We both pulled away as I looked into her eyes as her lips met mine in a soft kiss. I won't let go this time, I won't lose you ever again. I pulled back and smiled at her and said "I love you, Mizuki"
