Skye laughed as she saw Marshall and Carter pull up after them.

"So I take it you guys think he's sexist too?" She asked as they pulled up.

"Yeah... heheh..." Carter said embarrassedly.

"Well. I guess this is our mission now." Skye said.

"Not to be a buzzkill on our independence, but, Rocky may be injured from the bridge collapse, so we should try and find a way in. Quick." Marshall interrupted.

"Hey, guys? Is that a trash can?" Mal asked.

"What? Where?" Skye asked.

"Over there! Look!" Mal said and pointed his paw at a trash can, all the pups ran over and investigated, Carter found a door and, using his pup pack, made by the paw patrol union but designed by Rocky, he quickly managed to pick the lock and they got in, they rapidly made their way inside, and then they got a call from Chase, and someone by the name of Kade.

"Yeah? What is it Chase?" Everest said.

"We have some more pups here, Kade and Ryder are going to be doing the stake-out. Where are you?" Chase asked.

"We found an entrance, find our trucks, you'll find the entrance. Hurry though, before they find our way in." Skye said.

"Got it." Chase said.

Five minutes later

I've been here for how long? I know it's been over an hour, I've been counting the seconds with Erin, we were at 3,953 seconds when we stopped. Erin and I were both getting tired of the counting, so we have decided to stop. Erin has fallen asleep, so I'm having trouble not falling asleep with her. I know that, with my injuries, I need to stay awake, or else I might not wake up. And I can't let that happen. He knew that if he died, Skye, Tracker, Mia, Carter, Zuma, Marshall, Everest, and everyone else would be devestated. He thought of everyone as family, and he knew most of them felt the same.

He had to try to stay alive.
But he was starting to fail at staying awake.

Meanwhile

Frankie walked down the quiet hall after the others in the dark facility, they had discovered there were people there, they were using flash lights, they obviously weren't on a power grid.

Skye, Carter, and Frankie had split off into a group to try and spread out more, the groups were, Dot, Marshall, and Everest, then Benji, Chase, and Mia, after them, Dike, Zuma, and Mal, final group was Jodi and the australian shepherd named Andre.

Frankie caught up with Skye and Carter.

"Yo, what's the plan dog?" Frankie asked Skye.

"We look into all of these rooms in this hall. Quietly." Skye explained.

Frankie and Carter nodded. And the three spread out down the hall.

Frankie checked out the first room, he saw the sleeping form of a person, he made his way to the next door, and he found a room full of guns, he looked around and used his pup pack to take one, then he used another claw to load it, he had grabbed a 44 magnum.

He ran to another door and looked in, he didn't see anything inside, he ran to another room, and saw nothing, he saw Carter and Skye go into the next hall, he followed after them, he didn't find anything, and so he made his way down the opposite hallway of them, he looked in one of the rooms, didn't see anything, went across to a different room, and saw nothing. He went to another door, and there was nothing. He saw there were five more doors.

Aww, crap. I shouldn't have gone this way on my own. I should've went with the others. Frankie thought to himself.

Meanwhile.

Rocky could hear quiet commotion outside, he focused on it to try to keep himself awake.

What sound is that? Is it some kind of? It sounds like doors opening... And then being closed. Quietly. Rocky pondered who was doing that.

He heard the door knob rattle on the room he was in... and he quickly played dead.

Meanwhile

Frankie opened the door, it had been difficult, so he finally managed to open it, he could see two figures on the ground, he saw a gray figure with light and dark gray spots, he saw bruises and scratches, and he saw another pup on the ground, also bruised and scratched. He recognized the fur color from the picture Skye had shown him.

He ran out into the hall and waved them over to him, they came over, and when he showed them inside the room...

"That's Rocky... and... That's Erin!" Skye said quietly but excitedly.

"Then how about we get going?" Frankie said, and put Rocky over his shoulder.

"S-Sk-Skye?" They heard Rocky say.

"I'm here Rocky." Skye said.

"I-I've g-g-got in-inter-internal d-da-damage..." Rocky told her.

"What? Really? Oh, crap..." Skye said.

"Skye go call Marshall, Frankie and I can get these two out of here." Carter said.

"Okay. I'm on it." Skye said and walked away a bit and then called Marshall with her collar but Frankie and Carter couldn't hear what she said, but when they got outside, they saw everyone waiting, and Skye followed them out of the building and closed the door quietly and then they took off, and it wasn't long after that that they were at the hospital, and Rocky was in the ER.

Two hours later

Erin woke up and didn't feel cold hard stone flooring, or the warm touch of Rocky's paw, and she could see. She was in a hospital, and she was attached to multiple machines. She saw a nurse walking down the hallway so she got the nurse's attention and asked her who brought her here and where her friend Rocky was. The nurse told her that two paw patrol groups had brought her and Rocky to the hospital, and that Rocky was in the ER.

Erin quickly tried to get up, but the nurse told her she had to stay there for medical reasons. And Erin didn't try to get up again, because she didn't want to have to deal with that.

She just didn't want her alpha to go and die right when she found him again.

Meanwhile

Skye had refused to leave Rocky's side since he had been brought into the hospital, and she was the only one they would allow in, much to the other pups' dismay.

When she had heard the monitor flatline, she had refused to let go of Rocky for an entire minute, and she still hadn't let go.

"Don't die!" She screamed.

"Miss! Let go of him!" A doctor yelled at her.

"I won't let him go!" Skye said.

"You have to!" He yelled back.

"He won't survive if we don't give him CPR or something like that!" An intern(dumb one) said to her.

Skye still didn't let go, she kept telling Rocky not to die.

The doctors tried and tried to pull her off, but she refused to let go.

And then the monitor showed a heartbeat.

"What? But he was..." A doctor said, baffled.

"S-Sk-Skye? A-A-Are y-you o-ok-okay?" Rocky asked her weakly.

"Am I okay? Are you okay?" Skye asked back.

"B-But I'm w-wor-rried ab-about y-you!" Rocky said weakly.

"Oh, I'm fine, but you're-" Skye started.

"I-I'm f-fine a-as l-long as y-you're o-ok-okay." Rocky said weakly and hugged her.

"Well, I'm fine as long as you're okay." Skye said.

"H-hey! I j-just s-said th-that!" Rocky weakly teased her.

"By the way, Erin is fine too." Skye told him.

"Th-Thanks." Rocky said.

Rocky just layed in his bed and hugged Skye, as the doctors and nurses watched in wonder of how he survived three minutes without a single heartbeat.
