Chapter eight: Flooding the streets

Hey, Corin here, sorry it took so long to post, but we have A LOT going on right now, Emile's mom just died, so we have been grieving, but for the few readers we have, I convinced Emile that we should keep writing, so we have A LOT of story coming at you. Enjoy~

"On your six Donico!" Rocky called out, when the flood had come, he, Donico, and Mia had gone scouting for a good sniper spot, and they hadn't found one yet, but they felt they were close, too bad they were surrounded by flood combat forms.

"Roger!" Donico said as he used his lightrifle to shoot the combat form that had jumped at him, they had been split off from Mia.

"Dang it! There's too many of them!" Rocky shouted to Donico.

"You said it!" Donico yelled out.

"Crap crap crap! Here they come!" Rocky shouted and then he and Donico heard something and the Flood heard it too, they all stopped to try and find out what it was, and then a warthog crashed through a nearby wall with George at the wheel and the twins in the passenger and turret spots.

They shot down a ton of the flood and one combat form made it past the turret and jumped at an unsuspecting Donico, and then it got sniped down and the group looked up and saw Mia and Tracker.

"Hey! Be more careful!" Shouted Mia.

"Yeah! Seriously!" Tracker agreed.

"Wait, what are you two doing?" Rocky shouted up.

"We're looking for a sniper spot! We found something though... Zuma took it." Tracker shouts.

"What did he find?" Donico asked.

"FLOOD! LOOK OUT!" Mia shouted down and the group turned and saw a ton of assorted flood running at them and then suddenly a bunch of missiles shoot them down and Zuma is in a falcon above them.

"NOPE, NOT AFTER LAST TIME!" Rocky shouts and jumps in the air, the twins jump up in the air and boost him to the rooftops with Mia and Tracker, they understand what he's doing instantly and Mia gets on the ground and starts shooting at the falcon and Zuma turns it to block the cockpit and then Tracker and Rocky are running at the falcon and Zuma shoots at them and their dodging and then they make copies of themselves and Zuma shoots at them all and then he shoots more missiles at them but they get shot out of the air by the warthog turret because the others had used a ramp to get to the rooftops and so they started driving over and Tracker and Rocky jumped on the hood, Mia was in the passenger seat, they had gotten Donico on the turret so the twins were fighting the flood that were trying to get up the ramp.

Rocky jumped from the hood to the ground near the falcon as he shot missiles at the warthog, and then the warthog almost got hit, but luckily they could dodge and shoot the missiles quick enough, but one hit right at a wheel and they were sent flipping and so the three in the vehicle fell out and Tracker was fine, he had jumped off before it flipped.

Zuma flew the falcon up higher, but he didn't realize that was part of Rocky's plan, the underside was exposed, now Rocky had a blind spot.

George suddenly noticed the twins running toward them.

"There are too many!" Milo called out

"We have to come back to you guys!" Mark yelled as he ran off to the others.

Then Rocky's pup-tag blinked.

"Umm... sorry about this Rocky, but we need you at the road between Adventure Bay and Foggy Bottom, the car needs repairs and Carter doesn't remember how to do them..." Ryder said.
