The car ride was quiet as well as awkward. I looked out the window, my fall coat was held tightly by my hands around my waist out of nerves. Why had I agreed to come out tonight?

I turned on the radio so we wouldn't have to sit in an awkward silence. "What music do you like to listen to?"I turned down the volume to answer the question. "I usually listen to classical music but sometimes when I'm in a good mood I listen to some pop." She smiled, still looking ahead on the road. "I'm surprised. You look like a person who wouldn't give pop the time of day." I chuckled. "I do, don't I? I'm not the most exciting person in the world."

"I think tonight we should get to know each other better. Don't you think?" I hesitated and nodded. It wouldn't hurt to make, I guess, a new friend.

When we got to the bar, we took a seat at a booth. "What do you drink?" Oh god, here we go. "I don't normally drink. I don't have time to get drunk usually." Aviana smiled and looked me in the eyes. "Well, tonight you have all the time in the world. Don't worry about anything when you're with me. Let yourself loose." And that's exactly what I'm afraid to do. Aviana stood up and walked over to the bartender and came back a couple minutes later with a tray of shot glasses. "I have a little game we can play." A mischevious grin spread across her face as she placed a shot in front of me and one in front of her. "We ask each other questions about each other and who ever blushes or gets so embarrassed they can't answer, they take a shot. Whoever doesn't blush or get embarrassed they don't have to drink. Understand?" I nodded, nervous for what was to come.

"I'll go first. Have you ever talked yourself out of trouble?" she asked, looking at me expectantly. "I have actually. Awhile ago the principle came down to my class and he asked if I sent in the semester's student grades online and I had totally forgotten to do it! They were ready to be sent but I had to come up with an excuse to get him off my back." Aviana smirked. "And what did you say?"

"My cat died." Her eyes went wide and I laughed. "He didn't actually die, he's perfectly healthy. Anyway, he let me off the hook and I sent them immediately after he left." "I shouldn't be surprised at that kind of story but coming from you, I didn't know you could even make excuses. Okay, your turn." It was hard thinking of questions to ask her that didn't make me seem like a loser. "Uh... Have you ever gotten a tattoo?" "I do have one actually, however, it isn't in a place that's appropriate to show others in a public place. Maybe I'll show you later after we leave." I blushed and averted my eyes. I hope not... No, I don't know what I want. "Have you ever bought sexy panties and wore it while out and about?" I stammered. "I...I, I don't have any." I blushed and tried to look anywhere but at her. "Here," she pushed the shot closer towards me." Drink." I slowly picked it up and moved it towards my lips. She nodded, signalling me that it was okay. I downed the shot and made a disgusted sound. Aviana laughed. "Well about damn time! I thought you were saying your prayers in case you choked and died on it." My face paled. "I'm kidding, Lacey." Of course she was. Why was I so gullible to believe her? I bet it's the damn drink.

Five questions and double a number of drinks later, I was undeniably tipsy on all those drinks I had to drink. Aviana was completely sober, she hasn't touched any of her row of drinks. God, I'm jealous of her ability to be so confident with her answers. Or maybe I wasn't asking the right questions to get her flustered. "You are compleeeetely sober right now you bitch! God, I wish I was like you sometimes." I slurred my words and put my head down on the table and closed my eyes. "Why am I so uptight, Avi? I should be going out and partying once a week, meeting cute girls and possibly having a fling with them. Avi, you're so fun to be around I wish I spent a lot more time with you. Why do I even dislike you?" I giggled and she grabbed my hands. "Lace, you're so drunk right now but the game hasn't ended yet I have one more question for you." "Mmmmmm bring it bitch." The laughter that came out of her mouth made my closed-eyed face laugh as well. "Okay, okay. Have you ever had a sex dream with someone from work?" I frowned and blushed. "Yeah... But-but you know what? It doesn't mean anything okay? It doesn't mean I like you in that way, silly!" I lightly hit her arm. "So it was about me?" I giggled and swayed. "Yeah, your boobs were so big.... But you can't tell anyone I had that dream. It's a secret okayyy?" For the first time tonight, Aviana took a shot. Her face was red and she was laughing hysterically. I laughed again with her. "Okay, I think it's time to go. Let me drive you home." I pouted. "I don't want to go home, it's just so boring. Let's go to your house." And that's where we went.
