Chapter 2

- Y/N P.O.V -

Tae and I had spent the rest of the day together watching movies and eating pizza, I decided to be an idiot and suggest watching a horror movie as the last movie for the day; it was only 6pm so it wasn't too dark yet and I thought I was brave enough to watch a horror movie for once.

"Y/N are you sure about watching this? I know you hate horror movies" Tae spoke as he chose Conjuring 2 from the list of movies. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it but I can spend more time with Tae, so I'm not complaining.

"I'll be finee, besides you're here to protect me right?" I looked up at him and smiled as he nodded his head in agreement. We both sat down together under the blankets as the movie started and I was already scared; I huddled close to Tae and rested my head on his chest in hopes of hiding away. I heard him chuckle and wrap his arm around my shoulders while pulling me close towards him, I internally sighed as my heart began to race with the thought of him close to me.

[Time skip]

I was awoken by Taehyung poking my cheeks, grinning at me. He really is adorable, I wonder if maybe in another universe it is possible to be together more than friends, I can dream. I smile at him softly and poke him back. "About time you wake up, it's 10:30pm and I've been poking you for about 10 minutes." He complained and he jumped up from the couch. I frown to myself as I could no longer feel his warmth.

"Oh be quiet, if you didn't wake me up so early this morning I wouldn't be so tired." He laughs and walks up to me before embracing me in a hug. I wasn't prepared for that; I could feel my cheeks heat up slightly. Thankfully he couldn't see my face. His embrace gets stronger, almost as if he didn't want to let go of me. Almost as if it was the last time he would ever see me. It was strange but I couldn't question him.

"I've gotta go.. Bye Y/N." He let's go of me and pats me on the head before walking towards the door. He turns around and looks at me and smiles.

"Bye Tae! See you tomorrow?" He doesn't respond, only looks at me, nods and walks out of the door. He's never been like that before, maybe it was something I said? I'll ask him tomorrow at school about it.

I wake up with the sun shining through my window and look to my clock that reads 6:00am. I roll out of my bed and rush myself to get ready as school starts in an hour and I wasn't willing to be late. It took me about 15 minutes to get dressed and ready for school and I check my phone to see if I had gotten any texts from Tae or his group of friends. Nothing. It was strange as I always received at least one text from one of the boys but I didn't really mind as it allowed me to focus on making myself breakfast.

Once I had eaten breakfast, I grabbed my shoes and walked out of the door running to school as I only had 5 minutes till school started. Thankfully I had arrived on time, and walked towards my locker. I looked around to see if I could spot Taehyung but he was nowhere in sight. I could tell something was wrong and I wasn't the only one who noticed it. My other best friend Areum walked behind me and greeted me.

"Hey Y/N!" She greeted.

"Oh hey, have you seen Tae and the boys?" It shouldn't bother me that much that I haven't seen them. It's only the start of the day, I'm sure I'll see them in class.

"Nope, I was going to ask you the same thing. None of them around and no one has seen them either." Something wasn't right. I was growing even more worried and I know Areum could tell I was worried, she smiled at me and pat me on the back. "Don't worry though! I'm sure they'll be in class!" I glanced at her and nodded, grabbing my books and walking to class. In hopes of seeing Tae around.
