By the time lunch came around, I was completely over school. In every class someone called me an emo. I'm not a fucking emo, I just feel more comfortable wearing black and having my fringe covering my face.
I waited out the front of school to be picked up. I felt my phone vibrate yet again. It was Austin.

Hang in there bud, you'll be ok :)
I got that reply from everyone I texted. I just wanted someone to get me out of here.

So I've been told :| I've met one person who's being nice to me but I'm pretty sure that's out of pity.
Uncle Vic pulled up in his car an stopped right in front of me. Dad was in the passenger seat and Jaime and Tony were both in the back.
"Yay! I'm finally getting out of here!" I cheered.
"Only for lunch," dad pointed out.
I pouted as I got in the car. My phone vibrated in my hand.
"Who are you texting?" Jaime smirked.
"Austin," I replied showing him my phone screen.
"Damn, can't tease you about that," he pouted.
I stuck my tongue out at him before checking the message.

That's their loss. you don't need assholes in your life besides friends in school will only distract you :p
To: Squidgy :P
So, are you telling me to cut you from my life then hahah :p
"Cen, what do you want for lunch?" Dad asked me.
"I'm in the mood for a quesadilla," I smiled.
"Mexican it is then," Uncle Vic smiled.

The guys really knew how to cheer me up. I had lots of fun hanging out with them but soon it was time to go back to school.
"Can't I please stay with you guys?" I begged the four guys as Uncle Vic pulled up in front of the school.
Dad shook his head. "You gotta go to school."
"Fine," I sighed dramatically. "I'll see you guys later then."
The guys all said bye before I walked back into school. I was hoping to be able to avoid Alex but no. He was waiting for me just inside the gates.
"I thought your name sounded familiar," Alex said as he walked up to me.
I ignored him.
"You don't look Mexican though," he continued.
"That would be cos I'm not," I replied.
"How does that work then?" Alex asked. He sounded genuinely interested.
"I'm adopted." I said quietly.
"Ahh, right," Alex said scratching the back of his neck. "So you're Mike and Vic's adopted sister?"
I shook my head. "Mike's my dad."
"That must be so cool," Alex said staring off into the distance.
"It was until I was forced to go to school." I muttered. "I prefer going on tours and being their merch girl."
"Look, Ceneedra," Alex began. "I guess we got off on the wrong foot earlier."
I looked at him with an eyebrow raised. His short brown hair was being blown in the wind.
"I do want us to be friends." Alex continued.
"Why? Because you know who my dad is?" I questioned harshly.
"No," Alex replied. "Because you seem like a cool person; you're not afraid to be yourself, you're tough and you have a sick taste in music."
I chuckled at the last part.
"How about we ditch and just get to know each other?" He suggested.
"Ok, but where are we gonna go?"
"Follow me," Alex smiled.
