*MIKE'S POV*
I walked up to Ceneedra's room to wake her up for school. She had now been there for two months. It felt weird not having her around all day but I knew it was better for her to get an education so she could get a good job when she's older even if she doesn't think it's a good idea now. There's also the fact that people keep saying I'm a bad dad. As a parent, even an adoptive parent, that's the worst thing you could be called. I still didn't know what I was going to do with Ceneedra when we went on tour. I loved it when she comes with us because she is so fun but she goes to school now and will end up missing a lot if she went on tours.
I entered Ceneedra's room and saw that she wasn't in there.
"Cen!" I called out.
"Yeah, dad?" She answered walking out of her bathroom. She was already dressed for school. She was wearing a batman muscle tee with black ripped shorts and her black hair was pin straight.
"Just wondering where you were," I replied smiling at my daughter. She was so grown up compared to when I adopted her when she was 8.
"You ok, dad?" She giggled. "You're getting all emotional."
"What, yeah," I stammered regaining myself. "You're just growing up really fast."
"Naw, daddy," she smiled as she embraced me in a hug her head just reached my chest since she was so small, she's even smaller than Vic. "I love you, dad." Ceneedra said into my chest.
"Love you too, baby girl," I replied kissing the top of her head.
"Isn't this a cute father daughter moment," Vic's voice cooed from behind me. I didn't even know he was there.
"Hey, Uncle Vic," Cen smiled at my older brother.
"Hey, Cen," Vic smiled back.
"What's up, bro?" I asked Vic as we left Ceneedra's room.
"We have a band meeting today about that Australia and New Zealand tour with Of Mice & Men." Vic told me.
I nodded before walking into the lounge with Vic trailing behind me.
"What's Cen going to do?" Vic questioned.
"I have no fucking idea," I sighed. "If she comes with us, she'll miss out on a shit ton of school, but if she stays here, I'll miss her too much and I'll worry even if she is with Mum and Dad."
Vic nodded and pursed his lips. "I know Austin, Alan, Aaron, Phil and Tino want her to go as well as us."
I flopped down on the couch heavily. "What if we bring a tutor along?" I suggested.
"How many tutors would want to go on tour with people like us?" Vic asked sensibly. "Plus we'd most likely distract Cen."
Just then, Ceneedra ran down the stairs calling out her goodbyes. Alex had started picking her up for school and I must say I wasn't very happy about it.
"Are Cen and Alex dating yet?" Vic questioned me.
"No and they never will." I said sternly.
Vic gave me a look before bursting into laughter. "C'mon, Mikey, she's 16 now she's at that age where she finds guy attractive."
I rolled my eyes at my brother. "Would you be saying that if she was your daughter?"
"Probably not but you would be saying it to me," Vic said with a laugh.
I sighed and lay my head against the back of the couch.
