Chapter 26

I was still wearing my glasses everywhere we went. I drank a lot of Canada dry. Patrick was really drunk and Shianne had to walk around with him everywhere. Crawford had been drinking still at least a lot last night.  

July 28, 2013 Parade and Rally

PARADE-

We all loaded on to our buses. I was with Jonathan, of course, who had the cup. I will be honest I still kinda had a hangover. Mine last forever, though. The parade was great seeeing all of those supporters was great. I swear though, Toews kissed the cup so many times that he probably has no kisses left. I was seriously sweating, it was hot out, though. 

My glassses have been on my face forever from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. "You having fun?" Jonathan asked while I was standing right by him. 

"Yeah but its not like its your first time being her," I said. 

"My first time while I'm with you," he said.

"Your so cheesy sometimes," I said. 

"Love is cheesy, babe," he said. 

"There you go again," I said.

"I'm only cheesy for you," he said. 

"Love you, too, babe,'' I said.

"Same here," he said. He said referring to his self. 

"Uh you jerk," I gasped.

"I love, you, too. How about that," he said. 

"Better," I said. 

We all loaded off the bus after that. Walking around it was really hard to keep track of where he was. We stayed together though. 

RALLY- 

They did speech after speech. Calling us out one by one. I was the one right before Kane who was right before Toews who would finish it. When I was called out I walked right over to where almost all the guys were at. Everybody wanted a speech. And I guess thats what they were getting. 

"Alright Chicago, I was not prepared to give a speech today so forgive my messed up speech. I wanna thank all the people in the Blackhawks organization for giving me the opritunity to play hockey. And the fans for supporting my one year of playing. But it was great year. Wouldn't you agree? And thats all I got," and that was my speech. 

Then Patrick Kane came out with the belt to give to Corey Crawford. And his speech was "F****in' right Chicago!!! Woo- Biggest bunch ofbeauties in the league! Worked their F***ing nuts off for this trophy!" 

Jonathan Toews was up next. "Wow, it's tough to follow up on that speech of Corey Crawfords.Oh my." 

Then the rally was over next thing you know. Me bein in the blackhawks organization wasn't over though.
