It was a day before the first game against Detroit. Jonathan and I had just gotten up for breakfast.

"So, how are you feeling today?" Jon asked.

"The stress has really lifted off my shoulders," I replied.

"Good. How 'bout a movie before we have to go to practice?" Jonathan asked.

"Sounds wonderful, sweety," I replied. We got up and went to the living room. We heard a knock on the door.

"I'll go answer it," I said. I got up and it was Shianne. She had been crying her eyes were red. I pulled her in for a hug.

"Everything okay?" I asked.

"Patrick and I got in a fight. It was awful," she said starting to cry again. I pulled her to the couch.

"What was it about?" I asked her while giving Jonathan a look and mouthed the words 'go talk to him' and Jonathan then left.

"We got into a argument about how he never listens to me and how I made a stupid move being with him and then I packed a few things and left him there crying a little on the couch," she replied."I may or may not have hit him before I ran off."

"Listen he's stupid sometimes and he's probably a little drunk from last night with Shaw and Saad. Okay don't let it get to you," I said trying to make up some excuse for my dumb drunk teammate.

Jonathan's POV

I was driving over to Patrick's now because him and Shianne got into a fight that must have been pretty bad. He was out drinking last night so that explains a lot. But he never listens to anyone.

I had just arrived at Pat's. I was pounding on the door until he opened it up. "What did you do to Shianne? That she is sitting on my couch with Abby crying?" I asked in anger.

"We got into a fight okay. It was nothing big," he replied. I could tell he was drunk though.

"Listen what happened dude," I asked.

"A emotional war," he said.

"Listen you need to talk to her you really liked her. I could tell. So don't play it off like nothing ever sparked," I stated.

"She'll never take me back anyway. She hit me. She's not that kinda person. It's not like I don't want her back. I do," he said.

"I'm sure she would. I'll be back," I said heading towards the bathroom so I could call Abby.

"Hey, how is she doing?" I asked.

"She's done crying but she wants Patrick back but won't admit it," Abby said.

"Same here with Patrick. I swear he's stupid sometimes. But they need each other right now and they know it," I said.

"I'll bring her over. Just give me awhile to get her to," Abby said. "Okay, bye babe," I said.

"Bye, tazer," she said.

We hung up.

"Hey dude. If you had a chance to see Shi again would you?" I asked.

"Yeah no doubt. Its if she will forgive me," he said.

Abby's POV

"Shi we are going some where. Let's go," I said.

"We are not going to see, Patrick," she said.

"So what if we were?" I asked.

"He doesn't want to see me," she said.

"How do you know," I asked as we headed to Patrick's.

"I don't," she said. We headed to Patrick's and when we got there I texted Jonny.

'We are here, babe'. Then he came and answered the door as I dragged Shianne in.

"Patrick someone's here," Jonathan said. Patrick turned around and he looked like he couldn't believe his eyes.

"Hi Patrick," Shianne said scared. I was over to the side with Jonathan.

"Shianne," Patrick said."I thought you'd never forgive

me."

He got up and hugged her she kissed him. Me and Jonathan slipped out.

"I love you, Jonathan Bryan Toews. Now let's go home and get ready for practice," I said.

"I love you, too Abby Marie Davis," Jonathan said as we went our separate ways in our cars.

Later at practice... Abby's POV still

"Alright we play Detroit tomorrow. This will not be a cake walk like Minnesota so be prepared. I wanna start practice will skating drills," Coach started.

We did our drills and coach pulled me to the side. "Davis."

"Yeah coach," I asked.

"Don't let your game get thrown off tomorrow okay. We know after previous games they will headhunt Jonathan. And I know how you two are its sweet but you need to finish this season. Okay," Coach Q said.

"I understand but does that mean we are still on the same line?" I asked.

"Yes but keep your cool. And go home now," Q said.

"Bye," I said. I walked out to were Jonathan was waiting for me. And went to our apartment.
