The cocoon opens to reveal
a beautiful butterfly
Although the wind is forceful today
She lifts off into the sky
Her wings since the air
As she moves on without a care
For once her life was fair
She came to a fork in the air
and she chose her path without a care
The path lightens with darkness
as the light creeps away
The butterfly
Had flown astray
Her hope is gone
She has no strength to carry on
Pain is too great
for her to take
Her whole life had been ahead of her
But she took the wrong turn
