" Hey, gorgeous."
" Hey, babe. How was work?"
I gave Sebastian a kiss and continued setting the table as he told me about his day at work. I nodded and put in my comments when needed but all that I thought about was: " And when did you and Kylie have time to fuck?" As much as I wanted to ask that, out loud, I kept my lips shut tightly and served dinner.
" Tori, this steak is delicious. You've been spoiling me all week. "
" Because you deserve it, Sebby. You're such a wonderful husband and I'm happy to make you happy." I replied, looking at him with, what I hoped was, love. I guess that was something that I couldn't fake, is my love for him.
" I love you."
" I love you, too."
We kissed each other over the table.
" Remember earlier this week, you wanted to talk to me about something. I think it had to do with Gina? What's that about?"
" Oh, yes." Sebstian put down his knife and fork and wiped his mouth, then looked at me. " I was thinking that uh...if Shayna doesn't mind, that we should keep Gina permanently. I mean, she's practically living with us, already, and you damn there raised her, so why not just make her completely apart of the family?"
" You're not the only one who thinks we should. Mom told me the same thing when I met up with her this afternoon. This isn't just something that will happen over night and Gina still does have her father. I can talk it over with Reggie and Shay and see what they say but I do think that's a wonderful idea."
" It's not like either one could really say anything though, Victoria. I don't recall Reggie ever having her or seeing her for more than a few days out of the year and Shay.. Well, we both know that Shay doesn't...She's not ready to be a full time mother. Regina needs a full time, loving and permanent home that has stability. If word ever gets out about what Shay has done to this child, CPS can take, Gina, away from her and we might not be able to get her. Regina doesn't need that Victoria and your friend doesn't need Regina."
" She's not the worst case mother, Sebastian, so don't make it seem as though MY friend is abusing her daughter. Honestly, that girl never wanted for anything. They live in a nice, clean house-"
" Yeah, thanks to a maid. Victoria, I'm not trying to talk about Shayna or anything and I definitely didn't want to argue about this so excuse me if you thought that I was talking down on her because I wasn't. I just don't want to see Regina hurt because of her parent's decisions."
" I understand, baby. I'm sorry for getting upset. You know Shay is my sister and I know that she's not the ideal model for perfect mother but she does take care of Regina...for the most part. But, you are absolutely right and I will be sure to talk to them when I can."
After that, dinner went by smoothly. After we were done eating, Sebastian actually took time out of his busy life to help me clean up the kitchen. When we were done, He picked me up, bridal style, and carried me up the stairs.
" Tonight, I'm going to run you a nice bath. I think you need some time for yourself and to relax. Tomorrow, I'll be sure to treat you to an actual spa day before the party and if you want, you can go get a new dress, shoes..whatever you want. I want you to feel radiant and like a queen tomorrow."
I raised my eyebrows with the a smirk. " Just tomorrow?"
Sebastian gripped my waist and kissed me with burning passion. " You're my queen everyday until death does us apart."
" Well," I laughed, " let's just hope that that's a long time away."
***
That night Sebastian wound up falling asleep before me. Since he was a heavy sleeper, he didn't hear his phone ringing or alerting him that he had missed calls and text messages. I checked his phone just to see if any of the calls or messages were from any one important. Sebastian didn't mind if I checked his phone and I didn't mind if he checked mine because neither one of us had nothing to hide but I guess now he did because he had a passcode on it.
