Chapter 2

"Sure. Why not?" She said and smiled. We ran downstairs and into my room. Emily and I looked at each other. Now it's time for the hard part. Emily got her phone out, dialed the number, and pressed send. It felt like days until she answered the phone. I was so scared she would say no. She said hello and Emily replied.

"Hi mom." she said. "I was wondering if I could, you know, move to California with Megan? Yeah. Ok. Really? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" She yelled. I'm guessing it was a yes. She said good bye and hung up.

"Sooo?" I asked and smiled. Emily looked at me and said,

"She said I couldn't, but, she also said I get my favorite icecream when I get home." I looked at her.

"You know you are the worst liar ever right?" I asked and laughed.

"Yeah, I know." She said and laughed.

"Let's go tell my mom, and then go shopping!" I yell. We went back upstairs and told my mom. We got my keys and went to get some things for the new house. I can't wait to move now!

When we get to the store, we go right to the furniture section. We looked around to find some things for OUR new house. We saw a really nice couch, and a chair. We bought those. We got two beds, I got a white one and Emily got a black one. I got a desk and so did Emily. We got all the furniture we needed. We went to target to find some other things we might need. I got a pink and purple faded comforter, a purple lamp, pink baskets, and a purple rug. Emily got some stuff too.

When we got home, there was a note on the door. It read:

Hi guys, if your wondering what this note is for, ill tell you. Me and your father had to go somewhere, we'll be back after you have already left for California, so I really love you, and ill see you when you some and visit. And don't worry, we took Olivia with us, so you don't have to take care of her. Love you so so so so much..
Love, Mom and Dad ♡

Okay. Where did they go? I looked at Emily.

"What's the note for?" She asked.

"They left, but I don't know where. I want to find out. They won't be home until a little after we left for Cali, I won't see them for a long time." I said.

"It's okay, we will find out and then we will move to Cali and have the best times of our lives!" Emily said.

"Yeah, I guess so." I said. I smiled and opened the door. The furniture is on there way, they said we can just keep the truck for moving, and they'll pick it up after we are done, which is nice.

It was around 7 and I was starving, and so was Emily. We went into the kitchen to find there was no food in the fridge. So now we have to order, great, I can't wait any longer. We decided to go to McDonalds, we didn't feel like ordering, so we drove there.

When we got to McDonalds, we went and stood in the line to get our food. I ordered chicken nuggets, but I was starving so I got two 12 piece, I know, I'm unhealthy, but what can I say, when a girl is starving, she gets a lot of food. I also got some fries, we got our food and headed out the door, we didn't want to eat there. So we drove home.

We ate our food, and by then it was 8:10pm so we decided to watch Teen Wolf until we needed to go to sleep. Emily is going to stay over the night, and maybe tomorrow again but I don't know.

We watched 7 episodes of a Teen Wolf, then we noticed it was already 2:10am. So we went to bed. I was exhausted. I jumped onto my bed, and Emily slept on my chair thing.
