Chapter 42

Its been two weeks Hayes has been in the hospital. Cameron, Nash, Emily and I have been staying here. Everyone else needed to sleep. Hope was at the house, and my mom said she could take care of her.

"You guys don't need to stay here." Hayes said.

"Yes we do." Cameron said.

"No you don't. The doctors take care of me."

"Yeah but we want to stay here." Emily said.

"But you guys need sleep." He said.

"And you need to rest. Stop talking and sleep." I said.

"Fine." He said.

Nash chuckled.

I got out my phone and put my headphones in. I played the Kim Kardashian game.

Cameron and Nash texted and Emily listened to music.

After an hour of playing my game, I ran out of energy and put down my phone.

Cameron, Nash, and Hayes were all sleeping, and Emily was still on her phone.

I didn't want to talk and wake the guys up, so I texted Emily.

*text convo* (M=Megan E=Emily)

M: Hey

E: Hey

M: do you want to get something to eat?

E: sure

M: k let's go

We got up and opened the door.

We went into the hallway and looked around.

"Which way?" She asked.

"I think this way." I said and pointed down the hallway to the left.

We went down and soon found and elevator. Emily pushed the button and it dinged.

The door opened and there was a guy.

We went in and clicked the 1 button.

The doors closed. Me, Emily, and a creepy guy all were quiet.

Music started playing.

I got out my phone and texted Emily. Her phone vibrated and she checked it.

M: I don't like this guy.

E: I don't either

M: we should be out soon

E: I hope

Just then the door dinged and opened. Me and Emily ran out. The guy came out and went right out the hospital doors.

"That was creepy." Emily said.

"I think we are just creeped out about what happened. There's probably nothing wrong with that guy." I said.

We went to the vending machine and I put one dollar in for a uncrustable, it fell out and I grabbed it. I put another dollar in for a little bag of sun chips. I grabbed it.

Emily had the same thing. We also got things for Nash and Cameron for when they wake up. Hayes has to eat hospital food, so we didn't get him anything. We got four bottles of water then went to the elevator.

We clicked the button and it dinged. The doors opened and we walked in. I pressed the three button and the doors closed.

I held two bottles of water, two uncrustables, and two bags of chips. I wish I could eat it all right now but I couldn't.

Emily was holding the same thing. Plus her phone. Mine was in my pocket.

I touched my pocket just to make sure and it was there.

I always do that, I would hate to lose my phone.

The door dinged and we stepped out.

"Now which way?" Emily asked.

"Well, if we went left to get here then we should go left again. Right?" I asked.

"Let's just go." She said.

We walked down the hall until we saw a room and the door was wide open.

All the other doors are usually closed with people in them.

I looked in it, "Hello?"

I walked in and looked around. The sheets were all messed up, and chairs were tipped over. Papers were everywhere. There was some blood, that scared me.

"Megan lets just go this is creeping me out." Emily said.

I ran out and we ran down the hallway. We found Hayes' room and opened the door quickly and shut it.

Hayes, Cameron, and Nash where all awake now.

"We brought food." I said.

"Dang." Hayes said.

"It's five thirty, the doctors should be here for you soon." Emily said.

"Good." He said and laughed.

I smiled. Emily gave Nash his food and I have Cameron his.

"Thank you." Nash and Cam said.

"Welcome." Emily and I said.

We ate while Hayes waited for his food. Soon the doctor came and gave him mashed potatoes and gravy with cooked vegetables.

It actually looked good. Surprising.

I DONT KNOW HOW TO END THIS BOOK!!!
