Chapter 23

We got to the hospital, and ran in.

"Help! Please!" I yelled.

A doctor ran up to me, "What's wrong?"

"She's not breathing!" I yelled.

"I'll take her, you stay here." She said, and brought her into a room. I sat down in a chair.

I started to ball. "It's all my fault!" I yelled.

Emily hugged me, "No it's not." She said.

"How is it not?" I asked.

"You didn't mean for this to happen Cam!" She yelled.

"I know. But if I didn't, I wouldn't be here!" I yelled.

"Please settle down. It will be okay." She said.

"Thanks, but I'm worried." I said.

"Everything. Will be ok." Emily said.

"But what if it isn't?" I asked.

Then I started crying. I couldn't loose her, she was my everything. My heart, my love, my smile, my shoulder, my sun, my, everything. And I would be lost without her. Honestly, I couldn't live without her, she's my life.

*Next Day*

Me and Emily slept on the chairs at the hospital. Emily knew everything would be okay and wanted to go home, but I said I wouldn't leave, so we haven't.

And to be honest, me and Emily have gotten closer. I've noticed, we never really talked that much, only when I told her, and everybody else, to shut up that one time at the fair.

"Hello, are you here for Megan... Dallas is it?" The doctor asked.

"Yes." I said.

Emily smiled at me.

"Well, we've got good and bad news." He said.

"We could take some good news." Emily said.

"Okay, well she will be okay. She just got water in her lungs, and got a concussion." He said.

"Yes!" I yelled.

"Uhgmhhh I mean, yay she's okay but no... She got hurt ahh..." I said embarrassed.

"Bad news?" Emily asked.

"Well, she hasn't woken up yet, but she should wake up tonight or tomorrow." He said.

"At least she'll wake up." I said.

"Yeah." Emily said.

"Can we see her?" I asked.

"Oh! Yes!" He said, "Room 201 second floor. It should be to the right when you get up that elevator." He said and pointed to the elevator beside us.

"Thank you." I said.

Emily and I ran to the elevator, and got in. I pressed the button that said '2' on it, and we started moving.

When we got to the room, I ran up to Emily and sat down next to her.

"I miss her so much." I said.

"I missed you too." Megan said raspy and slowly opened her eyes.

"Oh my god I missed you!" I yelled.

She slowly sat up and hugged me.

"I love you so much, I'm so sorry." I said.

"It's okay, it wasn't your fault." She said.

"You can keep saying that, but I know it's not true." I said and chuckled. Megan laughed.

"Oh geez I missed your laugh!" Emily said and came to us.

"Em!" Megan yelled.

"Hey girrrllll!" She said.

I laughed, "Should we tell the doctor you're awake?" I asked.

"I will." Emily said.

She walked out the door, and I looked at Megan. We hugged.

"I missed you so much." She said.

"I missed you more." I said.

"Not even possible." She said.

I smiled.

*Next Day*

Megan is coming home today. And I really can't wait to cuddle with her again. She is like my stuffed bear, but better.

"She is ready to go!" The doctor said.

"Thank you so much." I said.

"Your certainly welcome." He said.

Me and Megan walked out of the hospital doors hand in hand...
